Like fellow supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio, Heidi Klum and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the all-American beauty is putting her insider fashion know-how to good use with the launch of her debut capsule collection for Velvet by Graham & Spencer. Inspired by her own eclectic, often laid-back approach to dressing, the supermodel set out to create a range of live-in tees, sweaters and jersey-knit dresses that make dressing like one of our favorite bombshells easier than ever!
“It’s something I’ve always wanted to do,” said Lily of her collaboration. “We talked about what I wanted to wear this spring, and we created it. I’m literally dying for them to send me clothes because I can’t wait to wear them.”
After starring in over a dozen of the brand’s campaigns over their ten year partnership, the pairing couldn’t have come more naturally to the brunette beauty. In fact, this collaboration was so special that Lily made sure to add a sweet, personal touch to each of the collection’s pieces, naming each one after a beloved friend or family member.
As the Angel explained in a recent interview with Elle, “When I started creating it, I was thinking about my friends and things for them to wear. I’d be like, ‘This would be a piece for Ruby [Aldridge].’ It started happening naturally, [but] was such a nice touch. I can’t wait to send Ruby the jacket or my older sister the dress. I know each of them will love it because it’s their style.”
