Lily Saves the Trees

Images via Independent

Lily Cole isn’t content just to rescue sheep.

She’s expanding her do-good attitude to work with the Amazon rainforest and attempt to save one billion trees and the animals it houses, including jaguars, pink river dolphins, scarlet macaws, howler monkeys, and giant otters. Along with Sky Rainforest Rescue campaign, the conservation body WWF, and the state government of Acre in Kew Gardens in southwest London, Lily is working to  preserve the trees by collaborating with the locals.

“The destruction of the rainforest is having a huge impact on our climate and on the millions of animal and plant species and the millions of people who live there,” said Lily. “It’s important we act now, so help make a difference by donating just £10 and help save 500 trees.”
