Llama Issues at Chanel

As you already know, Modelinia would love for someone to turn Freja Beha Erichsen into a dress-up doll based on her amazing style.

So when W chose to highlight her for their weekly model focus, we couldn’t have been more pleased. And to add to that, she’ll be featured in the magazine’s October issue in a fashion portfolio, shot by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. Mark that down if you’re a fan.

This summer the model will take off for a well-deserved vacation on a road trip of the West Coast to L.A., San Diego, the desert, Las Vegas, and Burning Man with friends, in her uniform of an Alexander Wang T-shirt or tank top and Acne jeans.

But before her downtime, there was the mania of couture and campaign season, most of which was taken over by Chanel. She and Heidi Mount shot in Vermont for the ad, running around with horses and unfortunately getting spit on by a llama. But when it came to couture it was much more refined, of course. Five hours of practice paired with an amazing buffet and the brilliance of seeing Karl Lagerfeld rounded out an amazing couture season for Freja.
