Look of the Week: Jourdan Dunn Keeps it Simple in Alexander Wang!

You know you’re at a gallery party when the red carpet looks are as creative and eye-catching as the artworks themselves.  On Wednesday night the creme de la creme of the fashion world gathered at New York’s Skylight Studios for the Whitney Museum’s annual Art Party sponsored by MaxMara, providing an endless array of art world style.  In attendance were such fashion tastemakers as actress Olivia Wilde, DJ Harley Viera-Newton and Erin Wasson, all of whom turned out in graphic, statement-making ensembles that popped like an Andy Warhol original.  While each A-lister proved lovely in her own way, there was one look that we found exceptional and that was Jourdan Dunn’s!

Today’s Look of the Week winner graced the scene in a sleek, sexy white cut-out sheath from Alexander Wang’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection and matching Saint Laurent Janis Pointy leather pumps.  Although minimal in design, Jourdan’s artful look was no less stunning under the party lights.  The genius to this look lies in its subtle, seductive qualities— the floating, slice and dice effect of Wang’s sporty chic frock is truly a sight to see— that provide both allure and polished sophistication to the streamlined look.  With a bold, red lip and a sleek hairdo to boot, Jourdan turned statuesque red carpet beauty, placing her ahead of pack this week!  To get Jourdan’s monochromatic look, check out our picks in the slideshow below:
