We teased you last week with this, but as promised, here is Lara Stone’s cover for the December 2009 cover of British Vogue, where the glossy named her the Model of the Year. Appropriately so, obviously. The beauty has taken over the world of fashion, even uprooting Madonna from her coveted place as the face of Louis Vuitton.
Mario Testino captured Lara in the inside editorial “Stone Age,” which is just as rich and decadent as the cover, as she seems to emerge from piles of tulle and layers. We have to say, she looks super young and innocent in the images, but maybe that’s just a byproduct of the excessive pink and pastels.
