While the September issues may be coming in, let’s step back for a second and look in awe at the stunning August 2009 cover of Vogue Italia.
The iconic international magazine chose to commemorate the supermodels for the last summer issue before the big month in fashion glossies. And they didn’t choose just any model for their cover—their girl is none other than one of the Trinity, Linda Evangelista. Steven Meisel captured the celebrated beauty in black and white for not only the front of the magazine, but also an inside editorial titled “Urban Decay.” And as if this news wasn’t exciting enough in the world of models, it’s rumored that the magazine will have not one, but multiple covers for their September issue, with a “compelling blonde (or two) weighed against a surprisingly unique choice of a brunette.”
