Louis Vuitton clearly knows how to start everyone’s day.
For those fashion lovers who didn’t make it to Paris this season, the brand livestreamed the Fall 2010 show on their Facebook page, and provided an up-close look at not only the new collection, but their amazing model cast! With Marc Jacobs at the lead, (and considering his love for models) a brilliant selection of girls was expected. But the outcome was much more than anyone could have hoped.
It was rumored that Laetitia Casta would walk in the show, but she not only stomped down the catwalk set around a massive fountain - she opened the runway! From her beginning, it was a parade of major models in ’50s inspired designs, including Alessandra Ambrosio, Bar Refaeli, Adriana Lima, Jessica Stam, Coco Rocha, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Catherine McNeil.
And to end the show, Elle Macpherson closed, in a strapless tiered gown, with Natalia Vodianova watching from the front row.
Without a doubt, this was a casting to be remembered for a lifetime.
