Marc Jacobs Turns His Models Into Hippie Kids

Were you awake this morning for the Louis Vuitton live-streaming show via its Facebook page? If not, for shame. But never fear, Modelinia is here to fill you in on all the details.

Marc Jacobs channeled his inner hippie child, complete with massive Afros for the girls, accessorized with mini bows, in a 1960s boho-meets-Native American inspiration.

Daisy Lowe sat front row, along with countless famous LV fans, watching 55 models strut down the runway. Patricia van der Vliet opened the show, followed by girls including Natasha Poly, Lyndsey Scott, Tao Okamoto, Hannah Holman, Mirte Maas, and ending with Ginta Lapina. While the models all pulled off their massive fros, we think this is a style best left to the masters of the runway.

True to Marc’s newfound punctuality, he started the show precisely on time, and editors were scrambling to sit in order to catch the show. On time is officially the new fashionably late.
