Aruba Model Search 2009

My first time blogging (Hi, Modelinia!) and it finds me en route to the beautiful island of Aruba for the annual Aruba Model Search (AMS) as one of the international guest judges. AMS 2009 is the final episode of Aruba’s most watched reality television show and includes the fashion show that determines the winner.
I’m here to see the male and female models, and gauge who might be right for Elite’s offices in New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles! We are always on the lookout for the next great girl or guy, and this is a fantastic chance to find new talent. I’ve been blessed to work with some of the top talent in the modeling industry and have a keen idea of what makes a top model. As we meet the talent over the weekend, I’ll let you know how they stand out and stack up!
This is my fourth time to the island and I know from my past travels here the local talent is beautiful with great personality (the two cornerstones of a top model). While here for the weekend we have a packed schedule of sun-kissed and sand-filled days, including a dinner to meet the models, a swimsuit competition, a one-on-one casting call, and the grand finale fashion show, which is broadcast live on June 7, 2009!
