There were a lot of highlights at Paris Fashion Week this season; Karlie Kloss made her runway return, Karl Lagerfeld sent 67 models down his catwalk, and Marc Jacobs used a real life train full of models as the platform for his Fall 2012 collection. But it was the very last show, Miu Miu, that put our model radar on high, and had us wishing the month of fashion wasn’t coming to an end.
Three Victoria’s Secret angels, Anne Vyalitsyna, Miranda Kerr, and Doutzen Kroes, walked the runway, with Anne opening and Doutzen closing. And as if that lineup wasn’t good enough, Coco Rocha, Magdalena Frackowiak, Natasha Poly, Jacquetta Wheeler, Karlie Kloss, and Ginta Lapina also walked the 70s inspired show. Anne was so excited about opening the collection that she took to her twitter to share the news: “Had no idea I’m opening [Miu Miu] until an hour before. I seriously had tears in my eyes when I found out.”
Though the end of the month of fashion is always a little bittersweet, this was the perfect way to end it. Congratulations to all the models on another successful season! See you in September!
