Here at Modelinia, there’s one look that we can definitely agree on: the cat-eye. The timeless style and model favorite is seen everywhere from the runway to the red carpet. But when it comes to the cat-eye, there seems to be two types of people: those who can draw a fluid arch over their eyelid with ease and well, those who just can’t. Luckily for the latter group, we’ve turned to beauty expert and blogger, Sarah Howard, for her cat-eye tips and tricks. She has broken it down to three simple steps. Finally, we can all achieve the perfect swoosh!
1.) Start by doing the wing first, makes it much easier.
2.) Hug your lash line as you draw a line from about 3/4 inward to the outer corner (I never suggest that anyone draw the line all the way into the inner corner of their eyes as this will always close up the eyes and make them appear smaller and closer together).
3.) Connect the line to the wing! So simple. If you want a thicker line, trace over this initial line until you get your desired thickness.
