Here’s the thing to remember about tattoos. They’re kind of permanent, so when you make the decision to get a tat, it’s a big one.
That being said, certain tattoos can be enlightening, meaningful, and thought-provoking. Models including Lily Donaldson (who has her mother and sister’s name on her wrist), Suvi Koponen (who has the number 5 on her back for the members of her family), and Isabeli Fontana (who decorated her body with love for her sons).
But our latest favorite comes from Karmen Pedaru, who has a tattoo on the inside of her wrist that reads A = X + Y + Z. It comes from an Albert Einstein quote: “If A equals success, then the formula is A equals X plus Y and Z, with X being work, Y play, and Z keeping your mouth shut.”
