Fresh from the runway of the Fashion’s Night Out: The Show experience, Coco Rocha brought a busload of models to the Meatpacking District on Tuesday night for a fundraiser for Haiti.
Dressed in a light pink jumpsuit, Coco welcomed guests and friends, posing for pictures with fans while gushing about her exciting news - two upcoming trips to Haiti! “One project that we want to do is to start a pen pal program. Kids from the states will write to kids in Haiti and we’ll be the messengers,” she explained. “The second idea is that since children in Haiti need uniforms in order to go to school, we are planning to get people to design uniforms! We’ll select the best, make them, and then bring them to Haiti!” In what will be a mix of necessity and simple kindness, Coco has easily made it possible for anyone and everyone to donate their time to those in need.

Fellow Elite girls including Damaris Lewis, Lisalla Montenegro, Michelle Alves, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Shanina Shaik - who’s walking in the Project Runway show - came out to support the cause, while guests mingled over the silent auction and gallery pieces while nibbling on bites and donating to Haiti, proving that a charitable evening is the way to begin Fashion Week.
