The next model muse in our pre Fashion Week style report is non other than the impossibly cool Ruby Aldridge. Ever since she opened for Marc by Marc Jacobs’ Fall 2010 collection, Ruby has been in high-demand in the fashion industry as well as a frequent face on street style blogs like Altamira: Models Off Duty and Street Peeper.
When it comes to fashion we can always rely on Ruby as a trendsetter; her style is the epitome of downtown chic as she’s almost always seen wearing a combination of vintage finds and designer labels like Jason Wu and John Rocha. In this photo we see Ruby in a duster sweater, cat-eye sunglasses, and an oversized fringe suede jacket all of which are expected to be major trends this season. We’re counting on seeing a lot of Ruby this season both on and off the runway and can’t wait to get inspired by even more of off-duty looks!
