Model Style Setters Fete the Ninth Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards!

When Anna Wintour and Diane von Furstenberg are hosting an event you just know you’re in for a major style treat!

With nearly a dozen of our favorite top models, fashion insiders and A-list celebs in tow, last night’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund awards ceremony looked more like a Fashion Week runway than an annual industry event.  Miranda Kerr was on the scene last night wearing an embellished top, coral skirt and peep-toe heels by fashion fund nominee, Giulietta, as was Caroline Trentini, who walked the red carpet in fellow nominee Tabitha Simmons’ heels.  While Chanel Iman added extra shine to the star-studded night with a flowing bronze silk gown, Arizona Muse opted for a pair of daring leather trousers and a sparkling black top. And check out the sexy specs on Karlie Kloss and Jourdan Dunn! Leave it to the House of Style  host to have us pulling out our own glasses today.

Once inside, the models were joined by fellow fashion stars Emma Stone (Burberry), Dakota Fanning (Jason Wu), Alexa Chung and Christina Ricci (Richard Chai) to watch as this year’s fashion fund award was presented to Greg Chait of The Elder Statesman. The design prize that accompanies the coveted award includes $300,000 and a yearlong mentorship with a veteran designer.  Footwear designer Tabitha Simmons and jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer were each named runners-up and winners of the $100,000 cash prize. Previous winners have included Joseph Altuzarra, Billy Reid, Sophie Theallet, Alexander Wang and Proenza Schouler.
