Get your angel wings ready, because the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is just a little over a week away! As the models continue to kick their workout routines into high gear, we’re preparing in our own way for the sexiest night of the year by brushing up on everything VS! Earlier this month, we had the chance to catch up with Angels Erin Heatherton and Lily Aldridge to learn all about their fashion show preparations. More recently, we’ve caught up with fellow VS runway star Arlenis Sosa to talk all about her new workout routine and how she is preparing for this year’s star-studded show. Can you believe the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is coming up?
“I know! Today was my casting!”
How did it go?
“It was amazing! I actually saw a picture of myself in the elevator, since I’ve been lucky enough to have done the campaign a couple of times. It was surprising to see myself around the office though, and it went well. I was very happy to see everyone there, and we’ll see what happens next week.”
How have you been getting ready up until this point?
“I’m always ready! My workout routines are always a lot of cardio, but I’ve recently started to do Pilates. That’s helped me a lot with toning my body, and I’m also a really healthy eater. Sometimes I cheat, which is good for the heart! Right now, it’s basically a lot of running, Pilates, and eating healthy. Victoria’s Secret is such a beautiful show and its very important, so we’ll see. I’ve been working very hard for it.
Do you have a favorite go-to snack that you keep on you backstage?
“Normally some nuts and non-sweet stuff.”
What do you have on your playlist when you’re working out?
“I love house music! So I have a little bit of Swedish House Mafia and Sebastian. I also have some Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen. Call me maybe!
