Modelinia Exclusive: Brooklyn Decker on Brooklyn, NY

© Devon Knight

After a quick, event filled trip to Las Vegas for the new issue of Sports Illustrated, Brooklyn Decker made it back to New York just in time to catch the last few days of New York Fashion Week. Modelinia caught up with the cover girl - who just announced that she will be starring in the film Just Go With It along side Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler - to talk about Twitter and steal her beauty secrets.

You just moved to Brooklyn, right?

I just moved to DUMBO! I think for the first time I’ve actually found my neighborhood in New York. I love the little restaurants and there’s lots of little families. It’s just a nice escape from the city.

What are your new favorite places in Brooklyn?

There’s a place called the General Store. It’s a café that’s really cool. They have picnic table style seating, so you sit with your neighbors and it’s cash only, so you go in and get your food and it’s really kind of healthy and organic. There’s another restaurant called Rice that I love which is very flavorful and has lots of different dishes. There are these nice little eclectic sort of neighborhood-y places in Brooklyn. I’m absolutely in love with it.

What’s on your iPod rotation right now?

I have a very weird mix. “Need You” by Lady Antebellum. I’m on a country kick right now of all things. “Dominos” by A Brief History of Love is a really good workout song. And also “A Sweet Disposition” by The Temper Trap is another good workout song. Actually, I heard “Dominos” at the Charlotte Ronson fashion show last season and just found it again recently. I’m completely in love with it.

Check back Monday for Brooklyn’s secret beauty tip that she learned on set and just why she’s Twitter obsessed.
