Modelinia Exclusive: Brooklyn Decker's 140 Character Habit

After a quick, event filled trip to Las Vegas for the new issue of Sports Illustrated, Brooklyn Decker made it back to New York just in time to catch the last few days of New York Fashion Week. Modelinia caught up with the cover girl - who just announced that she will be starring in the film Just Go With It along side Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler - to talk about Twitter and steal her beauty secrets.

Most of the Sports Illustrated girls are on Twitter now, but you’re a regular. What do you love about the 140 characters?

I think that as a model, people don’t really know what we do on a regular basis and they think we don’t work or just shop all day, whatever the case may be, and I think a lot of things girls can’t really talk about [their work] until it comes out because it’s all very secretive and private. So it’s nice to keep your friends informed on what you’re doing on a day-to-day basis and it’s sort of like taking your friends along with you. You can take pictures from different locations and show them what you’re wearing. Lots of times fashion can be crazy and completely kooky, but it’s kind of fun to see people’s response to that. For me it’s my way of keeping in touch with a lot of my friends. My little brother and my family are all on there, so it’s a great way to keep in touch.

What’s a beauty secret you’ve learned recently?

Recently on a shoot, I didn’t have any makeup removed with me. On the beach you wear a lot of waterproof makeup so it doesn’t smear. To get it off, a makeup artist told me to use Vaseline and just rub it on my eyes and really get into the base of your lashes. Take a cotton swab or q-tip and wipe it off. It takes the makeup right off. And if you leave a little bit there, the Vaseline is really good for your eyes and preventing wrinkles. It’s natural, cheap, a good makeup remover, and a good anti-aging for your eyes!
