Modelinia Parties with Kemp Muhl and Brooklyn Decker

Modelinia loves a good party, so we held an event at Tanuki Tavern last night to celebrate our first venture into print work, MODELINIA Magazine, along with cover girl Kemp Muhl. Held in the upstairs Hana Loft, Kemp arrived with her boyfriend, Sean Lennon, in tow, rocking an all-black outfit from her hat to her liquid leggings. Kemp’s been busy this week sitting front row for designer Michael Angel and designing her own lip gloss color for Maybelline. Upon arriving, she strode right up to her cover, giving photographers a million poses to work with, and later talked to Modelinia about her cover shot and what it means to be a Maybelline girl. “It’s an honor,” she said. “We have so much fun—it’s crazy backstage. I remember me and Jessica [White] were really bored and we got into some mischief. We went backstage and were like, Let’s freak them out! We took green and put it all over our face, and walked out like we were ready! They were like,’That’s what we’re doing? When did Maybelline go avant-garde?’”

After her appearance at the Marchesa presentation, Brooklyn Decker did a quick outfit change and popped into Tanuki for our event and a relaxing dinner. We knew you’d be in love with her (faux) glasses, so Modelinia got the details—Urban Outfitters. ~ Bianca Posterli
