Apparently last season the world missed their chance at seeing Kate Moss appear as a guest on Gossip Girl. Now with this season’s huge news that Tyra Banks would have a role, Modelinia got to thinking: Just what would the show be like if some of our favorite models were recast as the main stars?
Now we’re certainly not saying that Leighton Meester and Blake Lively should be removed from their positions as Blair and Serena, but in an alternate model universe (which is where we live, of course), who would play our four lead female roles?
Serena: Based on appearances, Serena glows, from her bouncing blonde locks to the sunny attitude she exudes. Plus, when it comes to the real girl, she may be one of the cool kids, but you know she’ll still be BFF with someone outside her clique. And that’s why Alessandra Ambrosio can be our Serena any day.
Blair: Hilary Rhoda has that perfect put-together uptown look that Blair oozes, minus the conniving attitude. But that’s why it’s called acting, right?
Jenny: Little J needs to be cast by someone who isn’t afraid to take chances, or wear extensive amounts of eyeliner, but also has a majorly creative feeling about them. Hello, Gemma Ward.
Vanessa: She’s Brooklyn-based and too cool for the Upper East Side kiddies, but can still hold her own when it comes to dealing with S and B. We’re thinking Noot Seear with her stunning individual wardrobe can certainly be our Vanessa.
