London Fashion Week began over the weekend, not only celebrating amazing designs, but also its 25th anniversary.
Here are a few highlights for those on this side of the pond.
- Matthew Williamson returned home to show, bringing along a front row full of models including Twiggy, Yasmin Le Bon, Erin O’Connor, and Trish Goff, and sent Abbey Lee Kershaw down the runway to open in a bronze dress with matching jacket.
- Mark Fast challenged conventional ideas of weight, sending models sizes 12 and 14 down his runway.
- Of course Topshop was a must-see, as Kate Moss sat front row, watching Dree Hemingway open the show. The dinner party drew models like Lily Donaldson, Natalia Vodianova, Naomi Campbell dressed in Alïa, Yasmin in her own design for Wallis, and Kate.
- Naomi obviously stole the show at Issa, along with Jourdan Dunn, who sat front row taking a break from walking while she rests for her upcoming baby.
- For the Vivienne Westwood Red Label show, Daisy Lowe showed off not only the designs, but also an adorable little puppy!
