While models may possess the talent to strut down a runway and pose in a million different ways for editorials, many of the girls have hidden skills outside the world of fashion. Coco Rocha is a well-seasoned Irish dancer, but she’s also an incredible artist. Caroline Trentini has huge vocal talent, as does Irina Lazareanu. We’ve introduced you to the secret talents of a few models already: Hanne Gaby Odiele styles photo shoots when she’s not the model, Iekeliene Stange is an amazing photographer, and Noot Seear can beat anyone at chess. But two new talents are those of Gemma Ward and Daria Werbowy. Tonight Modelinia is off to hear Gemma DJ at the Embrace the Blue event, where celebrity DJs like Christian Siriano and Tamarama’s Jay Lyons will spin for the event, hosted by the Doe Fund.
Then on Saturday, Daria will be at the Stoked on Spring fund-raiser. The nonprofit brings mentors to kids in need through action sports. Joy Bryant donates her time to the organization and even brought Modelinia along to go snowboarding back in February. Daria is no stranger to action sports, as she’s spent time skateboarding, snowboarding, sailing, and playing basketball and rugby, which makes her the perfect new addition to the Stoked team.
