Though the party last night was officially for Ryan Korban’s website launch, it felt kind of a like a reunion party—of the model sort.
With Natasha Poly hosting (in a sparkly Alexander Wang number), Modelinia was expecting a second model or two to show up at the Soho Grand Hotel, but nothing could have prepared us for the onslaught we saw. It all began as Natasha showed up alongside Rose Cordero, shortly followed by Iris Strubegger and Daiane Conterato. Jessica Stam prepped the partygoers with her arrival by Tweeting a picture of her Christian Louboutins. Through the night, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Maryna Linchuk, Dorothea Barth Jorgenson, Katrin Thormann, and Alana Zimmer all came in to congratulate the interior designer.

It seems like Ryan will have his hands full with model clients, considering his turnout. But up next is Natasha’s new pad—one which she has yet to purchase. “I’m planning on buying an apartment now in Soho, Chelsea, or the Meat Packing area,” said Natasha. “This is a really special project for me. I’m living here, I love New York. I love the energy of the city and the people. Anywhere you go, you meet so many cool people. There’s just this vibe.”
The city is about to be taken over by Victoria’s Secret, as the annual lingerie giant is setting up it’s fashion show this year in the Big Apple. But while Natasha’s walked in the past, this year we won’t be seeing her strut down the sparkly runway. “I have a shoot in Morocco, but I was thinking it would have been cool to do this season because I missed last year’s show. It’s so hard to decide between.” Surely we’re not the only ones who will miss her.

And just to improve the model quota at the party, as we walked out of the hotel and down the street, who did we pass? None other than Erin Wasson.
