Molly Sims unveils her billboard for ZICO Pure Premium Coconut Water’s “I Am Natural” campaign
To the surprise and delight of passersby, Molly Sims situated herself in the outskirts of Soho yesterday, on Thompson and Watts Street, to unveil her brand new billboard for Zico Coconut Water. To incite interest and excitement, the massive image was covered with a black canvas and everyone waited with baited breathe for the moment Molly decided to give the OK to show it off. Dressed in a long flowy Winter Kate maxi dress, with Grayce by Molly Sims jewelry, the model took her place in front of the billboard and gave her best poses as the billboard was revealed.
But photographers, editors, and tourists weren’t the only ones to appear for Molly’s Zico moment. While lowering the covering of her billboard and posing for photographers, Molly exclaimed, “There’s Gilles Bensimon!” Heads spun around, and there he was - snapping away with his own camera.
After the big unveiling, Molly situated herself behind the table and began handing out Zico bottles to everyone on the street - dishing out advice on her favorite flavor and convincing everyone to try the water. “You’ll never have to eat a banana because it’s very high in potassium!” she informed the masses. “Natural’s my favorite, but I like the citron flavor too.” Surely, her approval ratings influenced a few to convert from their current sports drinks and sodas.
Make sure you watch The Rachel Zoe show this season, for a behind the scenes look at the making of the Zico shoot. “Brad [Goreski] styled the shoot,” said Molly. “I cannot tell you how much we laughed! The photographer was trying to get me in a weird zone and he was trying to make me hum so we all cracked up on the show. I know I’m going to be made so much fun of, but I just could not hum while I was modeling! They made me do different poses and the guy was like, ‘Center yourself! Feel like you’re on a mountain!’ I’m like, ‘Dude, you gotta stop talking.’”
Between all of the excitement, Modelinia spotted Dorothea Barth Jorgensen, who happened to pass by on her bike, fresh from a casting and took a Zico for her ride home to Brooklyn.
