Some people drink coffee to wake up in the morning, but our favorite way to start a day is to chat with supermodels. This morning, Miranda Kerr launched the newest Dream Angels Push Up bra (which retails for $48 at the Lexington Avenue Victoria’s Secret store) in New York—and, of course, we were there. Though she just flew into New York at midnight, Miranda was still up and bubbly, in a vintage dress with Miu Miu shoes.
The front of the store was decorated in designs from the Ballet de Fleurs collection from the 2008 show, to pair with her ad campaign, which was shot in a Santa Barbara, California garden. “We were frolicking around in the garden,” she said. “We were blessed with beautiful weather. I was lapping it up. It wasn’t really like work, it was just about enjoying it. I love being in nature and being surrounded by nature.”
Part of the launch includes the “Love You Mom” sweepstakes, since Mother’s Day is just around the corner. The contest winner will receive a shopping spree at the store, hotel stay, and dinner at a 4 star restaurant. Miranda is all about the grand gestures, as her present for the holiday last year was huge. “Last Mother’s Day, I flew my grandmom and my mom out here and took them on a helicopter ride around New York and then we went to Central Park.”
