V Magazine is having a serious Naomi Campbell moment.
She appeared on one of the six covers of their Supermodel Swimsuit issue looking like a Playboy bunny, along with other one-name wonders Kate (Moss), Gisele (Bündchen), Daria (Werbowy), Claudia (Schiffer), and Eva (Herzigova).
And now Naomi has traveled to Russia to shoot with Karl Lagerfeld for a spread in the magazine. She’ll appear wearing a Chanel outfit, very Russian-inspired of course, on a balcony with the iconic gold domes and Soviet stars in the background. But the shoot wasn’t free from prying eyes. “Paparazzi, there, there, on the roof, I see them,” Naomi cried.
Will this be an entire “From Russia, With Love” type of editorial? And if so, Modelinia wonders: Will V also fit Natalia Vodianova into this shoot, as she’s always expressed her love for the city and her homeland?
