Last night’s Fashion For Relief charity dinner might as well have been the kickoff to London Fashion Week, as host Naomi Campbell gathered top model friends Kate Moss, Lily Donaldson, Georgia May Jagger, and Karen Elson in celebration of the Olympic Games.
In true supermodel fashion, Naomi and Kate turned the red-carpet into an all-out catwalk for the event. Turning heads as usual, Naomi showed off her amazing curves in a floor-sweeping black lace gown by Roberto Cavalli, which she paired with some glitzy silver bangles.
Fellow British supermodel Kate looked- as always!- impossibly cool and just back from holiday in a gold embroidered black kaftan dress and T-bar sandals.
Staying true to Britain’s cultural roots, the soiree brought together some of the best in fashion and rock, with Georgia May Jagger, Lily Donaldson, and Karen Elson breaking bread alongside Sarah Burton, Vivienne Westwood, the Rolling Stone’s Ronnie Wood, and even the Duchess of York! Not missing a beat of the evening’s Olympic events, the stylish crew reportedly cheered on Team GB while watching the venue’s big screen TVs.

“It is a very special and proud time to be in London and to celebrate the outstanding talent, which has been showcased during the games,” said Naomi to the Daily Mail. “I wish everyone taking part in London 2012 continued strength, determination, and perseverance for the remainder of the games.”
Although the Olympic committee has had their lips sealed over the Closing Ceremony performances, rumors have been swirling for weeks now about the expected British fashion and runway show said to star last night’s model attendees. We’d like to think that last night’s fashionable fete was just the preliminary gathering before the British fashion world takes center stage in London. Rest assured, we’ll be watching their every move from now until the big night with fingers crossed!
