Over the weekend, Naomi Campbell celebrated a huge birthday - her 40th!
To commemorate the occasion, her boyfriend Vladimir Doronin turned a moment in Cannes into a major event. Well-wishers including Eva Herzigova, Stefano Gabbana, Domenico Dolce, Sir Philip Green, Jennifer Lopez, and Marc Anthony joined in the party, which began with a feast at the Eden Roc Hotel - complete with specialty drinks called the Campbelltini and the Naomito - and turned into a concert featuring the Black Eyed Peas and Grace Jones. To show his love for the supermodel, Vladimir also decorated the Silver Angel yacht with 40 white roses just for her birthday cruising - one for every year she’s been on this Earth!

Never content to simply donate her time, Naomi Campbell has not only begun to focus her efforts on her new charity called Neon, she’s also stretching her creative talents. To raise funds and awareness for the children of Russia, Naomi’s teamed up with designer Igor Chapurin to design a t-shirt with the Neon logo. The two are not only longtime friends, but Naomi also walked exclusively for Igor during the Spring 2010 shows in Paris.
To add to the charity initiatives, Naomi’s holding an event in Moscow on May 25th, which will include a fashion show for guests including fashion models and celebrities. This is hardly her first foray into planning fashion shows. After all, the supermodel did orchestrate Fashion for Relief in both New York and London, so we’re expecting some major appearances.
