As with any fashion event, it’s the news that comes later that is the most interesting. Naomi Campbell worked with Lakme Fashion Week to walk for Mai Mumbai’s runway show to aid those affected by the Mumbai attacks last November. And since then, the possibilities of future projects have grown.
While it’s not every runway that she’s walking down, Naomi will make select appearances. But apparently, now she’s commented that “This is just the beginning” of her return to the runway. Plus, in addition to those in the fashion industry, a few Bollywood directors attended the fashion show, starting a few rumors that she’ll be starring in future projects.
Either way it’s more Naomi and we’re pleased!
