Too much of anything is often a bad thing, but a pop of neon color is this season’s surest way to get noticed. A magenta lip or orange lid is the perfect way to stand out in a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt or even your favorite LBD.
It’s no surprise that beauties like Lindsey Wixson and Toni Garrn pull off the neon eye look with ease. To wear the trend in a more subtle way, try a neon mascara like Cara Delevingne. Another sure way to light up the room is going for a bold neon lip like Anja Rubik or Frida Gustavsson. Make sure you try only one look at a time. Although a neon eye and lip may work in an editorial, it will definitely be overboard in person.
