New Models for Preen, Molly Sims Launches Grayce

Last season Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi chose one girl for each look with casting director Angus Munro, but this season will have a new take. “We’re going for a slightly different look this season,” said Justin. “We’re going for an edgy, young look, light and fresh. We’ll have a mix of some of the great girls, and we’re mixing in the sexy look.” But the two adamantly opposed picking favorites. “How do you pick one from like 30?”

Just a few blocks up, hidden in a private garden space in the back of Raoul’s, Molly Sims was celebrating the launch of her jewelry line for HSN, Grayce, hosted by Stefani Greenfield and Nate Berkus. “I’m not just one girl, I’m four girls,” Molly explained. “You’re all-American, but you’re a little Audrey Hepburn. It’s all about layering and finding different things from all over the world. I love that. That’s where the collection came from. I actually build my outfits around my jewelry.” We do too, Molly, we do too.

While we gushed over her baubles, Molly gushed over Karlie Kloss and Vogue’s focus on the fresh face who’s set to walk for Jason Wu this season. The love was totally returned from adorable Karlie. “I’m so excited. I was telling her how I’m taking notes! I’m so excited and proud of her.” Can we expect a future line from Miss Kloss? “In the future maybe. I’m taking it one day at a time, but one day down the line I have lots of plans.” We sense a bit of model mentorship going on, and Molly hinted, “Maybe a little bit.”~ Bianca Posterli
