Every season we see nightlife venues fighting over fashion week affairs; clubs and restaurants buying out their neighbors so that they may be coined a “fashion week hotspot.” This time around, those neighbors have little chance of winning over the highly anticipated opening Le Baron and the reopening of the beloved Double Seven. Then of course, is MODELLOUNGE, an extremely exclusive (models only!) lounge where famished and exhausted models can go take a load off. Read on to get the inside scoop on all three.

MODEL LOUNGE provides a year round safe haven for all models from top agencies in New York. Located in Union Square, in range of some top notch agency headquarters, models can come here to enjoy seminars from fashion insiders, booking sessions with editors, and even runway classes so the girls can perfect their walks. This fashion week, the lounge is sponsored by Teen Vogue and UGG Australia — we can only imagine the goodies the girls will receive! Each fashion week, MODEL LOUNGE distributes a “Fashion Week Survival Tote” full of model necessities, including items provided by CK, Redken, Schick, Nimble Bar, Beats by Dr. Dre, and more. Kate Upton, Lizzy Glenn, and Joan Smalls have all recently been spotted enjoying MODEL LOUNGE.

Club owner Andre Saraiva has turned the original Le Baron into one of the most exclusive clubs in all of Europe. During Paris fashion week, the club hosted a number of exclusive events, and the newly opened outpost in Tokyo has been a huge success, which leads us to assume that the New York location is sure to be a fashion week hangout for the downtown chic. Located in Chinatown, Le Baron inhibits an old karaoke bar, now converted into a three-story house party at what appears to be a 70s era Saigon. Considering the exclusivity (no photography allowed inside!) and hype surrounding the opening, we’re sure Le Baron will be a magnet to some of our favorite model beauties including Agyness Deyn, Freja Beha Erichsen, and Abbey Lee Kershaw.

Several years ago, Meat Packing hot spot Double Seven was forced to close by their landlord. Now, after resolving the issues presented, the club is back on the scene and is certainly looking to make up for lost time. On the lineup for Fashion Week: Refinery29’s fashion week kick-off extravaganza and Jason Wu’s after party, just to name a few. Expect to see fashion insiders like Anna Dello Russo, as well as fresh-off-the-runway favorites such as Karlie Kloss, Jessica Stam, and Iekeliene Stange.
