Oh how times have changed. These days, a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit shoot isn’t just a photoshoot. Each location includes videos, Tweets, hundreds of swimsuits, and an entire crew. Cheryl Tiegs reminisced on her time as an SI model, and it’s surprising to hear the vast difference that technology and time have afforded us.

“When I first started doing Sports Illustrated, there would be the editor, photographer, and myself. 3 people. We would go to an island with a bag full of bathing suits and that was it. It was as simple as that! I did my own hair, my own makeup. It was very simple. We just took pretty pictures.”
