After a falling out, Inès de la Fressange and Karl Lagerfeld rekindled their relationship, as the designer asked his former muse to return to the runway to not only walk in the Chanel show, but also pose for the Spring 2011 campaign alongside Freja Beha Erichsen and Stella Tennant.
Now Karl’s continuing to show off his love for Inès in the newest issue of V magazine in the feature, “Can’t Stop the Muses.” A selection of designers were asked to pick their model muses, and Karl honored Inès with his dedication, explaining, “She is in the incarnation of Parisian chic. She is not only beautiful, she has class. She is ageless.” Along with Inès, another supermodel earned a nomination in the feature thanks to Isaac Mizrahi - the timeless Iman.
As a continuation of the muse theme, Carmen Dell’Orefice, China Machado, Talisa Soto, and Frederique van der Wall show off their ageless beauty in “Four Women,” proving that time means nothing for supermodels.
