Modelinia has the rest of the covers for V Magazine’s Swimsuit issue! We already shared the Eva Herzigova and Naomi Campbell covers, but here’s Kate Moss in that huge Maison Martin Margiela fur, Claudia Schiffer in handcuffs and those Yves Saint Laurent cage shoes, Gisele Bündchen, and Daria Werbowy, all posing against bold bright backgrounds for Mario Testino. Each girl was chosen based on the fact that they are one-name wonders. Stephen Gan, editor in chief of V, discussed the project, saying, ”Mario Testino and I started talking about doing a swimsuit issue about this time last year. We chose the sexiest bodies in the world and those that had a special connection to the Testino world; a lot of the guys and girls photographed grew up with V readers over the years.”
Wednesday night’s Belvedere party, hosted by Jonathan Kelsey and Estelle for the launch of Black Raspberry, also celebrated the brand-new issue, and though the cover girls were missing, Jessica Stam and Poppy Delevigne were there to toast.
Jessica beelined to the DJ booth the moment she arrived and stayed there the rest of the night dancing with Harley Viera Newton and Cassie Coan, the DJs; Peter Som and Phillip Lim showed up after the Parsons Fashion Benefit honoring Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa, looking dapper in their suits.
