UPDATE: Cara Delevingne Skips the Runway to Show Off One of Her Best Off-Duty Looks Yet

UPDATE:

Just when we thought Cara had achieved max coolness with her Stella McCartney show look, the It Brit took to the streets of Paris this afternoon to prove us dead wrong.  Feeling inspired perhaps by her rumored new girlfriend St. Vincent, Cara transformed from catwalk queen (more like front row fixture these days) to music protege while hitting the Chanel boutique following the show. Though still dressed in her insanely cool pant suit, Cara upped the cool factor of the look with the addition of a wide-brimmed hat and a fancy new white Chanel guitar.  With her Beatles-style mirrored shades and chic musical accessory tucked under one arm, Cara looked every bit the rockstar in-training, which we can only assume is bad news for those of us still hoping that she’ll make a return to the runway sometime in the very near future.

Crystal Renn Solidifies the Platinum Hair Trend

When Kim Kardashian and Jared Leto took their seats at Balmain’s fall 2015 show in Paris last week, they unleashed the kind of paparazzi firestorm that even a royal wedding couldn’t inspire.  Before the show had even ended, the two were trending across the Twittersphere and just like that platinum mania found its way back into the fashion lexicon. Still, it takes three to make a trend and it wasn’t until we made our monthly trip to the newsstands this weekend that we found the missing piece to the bleached hair puzzle: Crystal Renn.

Never one to shy away from a bold beauty transformation, Crystal graces the cover of this month’s special eighth year anniversary edition of L’Official Singapore looking unrecognizable with a set of bleached brows and sleek, icy blonde strands.  That’s right— leave it to the chameleon-like model to take the celebrity-sponsored look and turn it into a certified fashion trend.  And she’s not the only one doing it either.  The collectable fashion issue also includes seven other supermodel-fronted covers shot by famed photographer Steven Klein.  Among those taking the platinum plunge are Angela Lindvall, Liu Wen and Jamie Bochert, while Naomi Campbell, Guinevere Van Seenus, Maria Borges and Xiao Wen Ju round out the full cast. So let it be known: Kim K may have gotten the buzz, but these models were one giant step ahead.

Cara Delevingne, Georgia May Jagger and Suki Waterhouse Strip Down for British Vogue’s April Issue

Looks like Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift aren’t the only stylish BFFs Vogue is interested in these days!

Hot on the heels of the fashion glossy’s #Kaylor-dedicated March issue, British Vogue appears to have taken a page of its counterpart’s playbook by casting longtime BFFs Cara Delevingne, Georgia May Jagger and Suki Waterhouse on the cover of its April 2015 issue.

Shot by famed photographer Martio Testino, the issue marks Cara’s fifth cover feature for the magazine, and a first for Suki, who has appeared in its pages only once before.  In their group cover shot, Cara stands front and center sandwiched between her fellow fellow ‘It-girls,’ all of whom are dressed in similar style beaded gowns. J’adore!

Over the weekend, Vogue style editor-at-large Elisabeth Von Thurn Und Taxis landed herself in hot water after posting (and then later deleting) an Instagram photo that showed a homeless person reading a copy of the fashion magazine on the streets of Paris.  Elisabeth, who was in Paris for Paris Fashion Week, seemed to find the scene amusing and captioned the pic, “Paris is full of surprises….and @voguemagazine readers even in unexpected corners!” What’s surprising is that something like this would even happen! ~ Fashionista

“Chola Victorian” was the unusual combination of words makeup artist Pat McGrath used to describe the incredibly ornate look at Givenchy over the weekend.  The look, which took over six hours to apply, came complete with oversize septum rings, earrings, and over-the-top facial embellishments punctuated by pearls, emeralds and rubies.  The hardest part explained McGrath, was just getting everything to stay put! ~ Style.com

It’s been quite a year for Cressida Bonas. Since splitting with Prince Harry in April 2014, she’s scored a place on Vanity Fair’s annual best-dressed list, was photographed by Mario Testino, became one of Mulberry’s ‘It-girl’ spokesmodels and now, to top it all off she’s following in the footsteps of Cara Delevingne with her first Vogue cover! ~ Telegraph

5 Supermodels Share Their Must-Have Beauty Products Throughout Fashion Week

Models may be pros at walking in dangerously high heels, wearing clothes with aplomb, and looking good while doing practically everything, but if there is one thing that exceeds their fashion prowess, it’s their command off the world’s best beauty products.  Backstage at fashion week each season, they road test a mind-boggling assortment of foundations, creams, bronzers, lip colors, and mascaras from brands that range from drugstore finds to luxury staples.   Between having their makeup applied and reapplied several times a day and their skin exposed to just as many different ingredients, it’s safe to say that they’ve figured out which products really belong in beauty’s upper echelon. Here, we got five supermodels including Jourdan DunnJessica Hart and Karlie Kloss (who routinely takes to Instagram to share the contents of her travel bag) to reveal the three must-have beauty products they never leave home without.  From ‘gotta-have-it’ lip balms to hair growth supplements to an in-flight treat (that’s right, snacks have their place in beauty too),  here are 15 beauty products you’ll always find in these models’ carry-on bags.

Anja Rubik Wants to Empower You With the Scent of Her Debut Perfume

In her decade as one of the world’s most in-demand models, Anja Rubik has been the face of quite a few fragrances — Chloé, Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina Eleganza, Fan di Fendi, and Elie Saab to name a few. She’s the fragrance world’s dream —the perfect mix of high-fashion elegance and commercial sexy— and now, she’s looking to profit from her perfume prowess with the launch of her first fragrance, Original by Anja Rubik.

We know what you’re thinking: another celebrity perfume — how good could it be?  The answer: good. Really good, in fact.  The subtle, yet sexy scent combines hints of lily, amber and green tea for a modern, unisex fragrance that, as Anja hopes, does more than just wear well — it makes a statement.  ”It’s about confidence to follow your dreams and your own path,” says Anja of the message behind her scent. “I want it to trigger this feeling of empowerment.”

Here, we sit down with Anja to learn more about her fragrance debut, the scents that inspire her, and why her perfume is just as much a nod to feminism as it is a must-have addition to your fragrance collection. See below for the full interview.
