Paris may be the final stop on the spring/summer ’15 circuit, but that doesn’t mean that the action shows any sign of slowing down.
On Wednesday night, the fashion elite joined Diane von Furstenberg in celebrating the 40th anniversary of her historic wrap dress with the unveiling of a new shop window at Galeries Lafayette. The display features six works of art handpicked by the designer, including a painting of Anna Wintour by Alex Katz, another one of Franca Sozzani by Julian Schnabel as well as photograph of supermodel Natalia Vodianova— who joined the legendary designer at the store fete— taken by François-Marie Banier.
Kicking things off on Thursday night, photographer Peter Lindbergh gathered the fash pack at the Gagosian Gallery for the opening of his latest exhibition, which feature large-scale works honoring the glamour of his most iconic model muses including ’90s supermodels Kate Moss and Nadja Auermann. Among the attendees was Emilio Pucci’s Peter Dundas, Nicholas Kirkwood and Paolo Roversi, along with a flurry of models including Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Natalia Vodianova and Andreea Diaconu.
Meanwhile, at Paris’ Caviar Kaspia, Matchesfashion.com played host to an intimate dinner party celebrating Tabitha Simmons spring 2015 collection. Kendall Jenner, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls were just a few of the top models who joined Derek Blasberg, Grace Coddington and Hanneli Mustaparta at the exclusive fashion week dinner.
