Looks like the Cara Delevingne-Mulberry love affair is still going strong!
Hot off the launch of her new handbag line and the accompany campaign in which she too stars, Cara returns for third season as the face of Mulberry, posing for the British label’s just-released Fall/Winter 2014 campaign shot by Tim Walker. This season, the model of the moment is trading in her teacups for a pastoral adventure, hitting the Scottish Highlands in true Brit fashion: houndstooth, brogues, wellies and the occasional chunky arran knit. As for the bags, Cara carries the new Tessie and Bayswater Buckle. Of course the Cara Delevingne collection also makes a cameo, with Cara modelling the quilted black and camo print backpacks.
“The thing I most like about our new Mulberry campaign is the sheer Mulberry of it,” said Anne-Marie Verdin, Brand Director at Mulberry. ”Big space, fresh air, wind in the hair, away from it all…Mulberry is a brand that is at home in town and country and we wanted to capture that feeling. When we arrived in Scotland it was pouring with rain, but once Tim arrived this golden sun appeared – he really has the magic touch!”
Meanwhile, the accessories label, which is already known for its menagerie of furry campaign stars, couldn’t resist throwing in a few cute, cuddly animals to appear alongside the model, designer, actress and singer, including several dogs belonging to the local gamekeeper and a little lamb, who rumor has it, quickly became Cara’s favorite.
