Punk rock may be a thing of the past, but as Anja Rubik proves in her latest campaign, its sartorial influence never dies!

Just in time for next month’s highly-anticipated Met Ball honoring the Costume Institute’s upcoming exhibit “Punk: Chaos to Couture,” Moda Operandi had tapped 13 high fashion labels and independent artists to create a limited edition collection inspired by the anti-establishment movement, fronted by none other than Ms. Rubik.   In an exclusive first look at the campaign— shot by Nick Knight— via Elle UK, the Polish model debuts her stunning punk makeover, donning fishnet tights, a studded leather jacket and heavy charcoal-rimmed eyes that are just fierce enough to incite their own fashion riot.  Surely, punk muses Debbie Harry and Siouxsie Sioux would be proud of the gorgeous catwalker, who as you might recall, has been known to cause a style stir from time to time— do we even have to mention the model’s scandalous 2012 Met Ball ensemble?  While remaining true to the rebellious nature of the subculture’s signature duds, Anja can’t help but add her own dose of high-fashion sex appeal to the spiked-out Givenchy, Balmain and Vivienne Westwood pieces, which is oddly “punk” in spirit if you ask us.

There’s no official word yet on what the gorgeous model will don at next month’s red carpet event, although we feel so inclined as to suggest any one of these sleek misfit looks.  After all, when will safety pins and nose rings ever be gala-appropriate again?

We always thought models made the best kinds of friends!

In a heartwarming display of friendship, Victoria’s Secret models Miranda Kerr and Alessandra Ambrosio have put their sartorial know-how to good use this week, trading in their latest Coachella party looks for pieces from fellow Angel Lily Aldridge ‘s new clothing line for Velvet. Being the Angels that they are, Miranda and Alessandra showed their support of their model-turned designer friend, hitting the pavement in Lily’s “Ruby 12″ military-style jacket (on Miranda) and tie-dye maxi (on Alessandra).

Miranda— better known as the queen of accessories around the Modelinia office— put her signature flirty, feminine spin on the laid-back jacket, topping the look off with her trusty Miu Miu sunglasses that she holds so dear, along with a graphic Josh Goot tee, black hip-hugging mini skirt and Isabel Marant Dicker boots.

Alessandra on the other hand stuck to her classic Cali-cool ways, adding oversized Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, a simple Isabel Marant Elia braided belt, Sam Edelman Gigi gladiator sandals and a slouchy grey leather Givenchy Pandora messenger bag to the boho mix.

Meanwhile, Lily went full glam for the launch of her collection, slipping into a sexy, animal print mini that she named after her bestie (and the godmother to her daughter Dixie Pearl), Erin Heatherton.  Now, what could be cuter than that?

We’ve all been there— staring into the closet, wondering what to wear, only to reach for the go-to piece we knew we’d inevitably turn to despite the plethora of options lying in front of us.  Whether it be the piece’s figure-flattering appeal, bold pop of color, or its comfort level (and we all know those pieces are few and far between in fashion) most will admit to having a favorite article of clothing that reigns above the rest— supermodels included!  Although they’re known to rack up quite the impressive fashion collection, these runway stars aren’t immune to a repeat offensive every now and again and today, we have the evidence to prove it!   As of late, we’ve caught more than a few of our favorite models rocking their tried and true favorites on at least three separate occasions, proof that models do indeed play favorites—when it comes to their wardrobe that is.   Interested to see how models like Miranda Kerr, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Kate Moss manage to successfully pull off their repeat pieces and still land on the best dressed lists?  See our roundup of the stylish repeat offenders after the jump!

Kate Upton is returning to the big screen and this time around she’s taking center stage!

According to Variety, the Sports Illustrated cover girl is currently in talks to join funny girls Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann in a comedy about women seeking revenge against a philandering husband played by Game of Thrones heartthrob, Nikolaj Coster Waldau.  Titled, The Other Woman, the Fox film is said to have Kate playing, you guessed it, the seductive ‘other woman,’ starring opposite Cameron, the girlfriend-on-the-side, and Leslie, the scorned wife.

Assuming Kate lands the role— and we’d say the odds are looking pretty good for the supermodel seeing as how we can’t imagine that any man has the power to resist her sinuous curves and mega-watt smile— Other Woman will be her most significant film role to date, following previous cameo appearances in Fox’s The Three Stooges and Tower Heist.

Directed by Nick Cassavetes, the revenge flick will begin shooting in late spring/early summer in New York, while a release date has yet to be announced.
