On Sunday, thousands of people in cities around the world participated in the People’s Climate March to call for global action to reverse climate change ahead of the UN’s Climate Summit on Tuesday. While 310,000 people walked in New York alone, diverse groups of people, from politicians to celebrities, took to the streets in 166 countries making #ClimateMarch the largest march in history. Of course, Leonardo DiCaprio and Al Gore were hardly the only famous faces spotted in the crowds over the weekend. Representing the fashion industry was models Cameron Russell, Jessica Hart, Andrea Diaconu, Lily Cole and Raquel Zimmermann, who took to Instagram to document their experience, along with thousands of other supporters. Cara Delevingne even did her part, taking to the streets on London dressed in an animal onesie to join her pals in the global march. “We are one,” read the model’s photo caption— a sentiment that was also shared by her model peers stateside.
