After living it up in Ibiza earlier this month for her pal Riccardo Tisci’s 40th birthday party, Kate Moss packed her Louis Vuitton bags and headed to Cannes, this time to celebrate another one of the world’s biggest style icons: Madonna.
On Saturday, the 40-year-old supermodel joined the legendary singer in celebrating her 56th birthday at the grand 1900s French mansion, Villa Saint Georges, with a lavish 1920s-themed bash complete with elaborate costumes, live music and a healthy dose of glitter.
While friends like DSquared2 designers Dean and Dan Caten and Riccardo Tisci uploaded a few snaps from the evening, we have the birthday girl and photographer Mert Alas to thank for the influx of racy Moss pics that have been sprouting up on our feeds every since. In one of the most jaw-dropping photos to come out of the A-list festivities, both the Queen of Pop and the Queen of the Runway can be seen cozying up together in their slinky flapper outfits alongside a very fitting “Bow down Bitches!” caption.
After wearing little more than a green bikini and fishnets to Tisci’s birthday several week earlier, Kate once again let her risque side show, stepping out in a very Madonna-esque chain-lined leotard and cap, while the Material Girl opted for a Daisy Buchanan-style silver beaded dress and matching headpiece. Clearly, age is no barrier on Kate’s good time.
