When your personal motto reads: “Never complain, never explain,” chances are you’re not inviting strangers over to your home. And yet, in a twist of fate, British Vogue has convinced the famously private Kate Moss into opening the doors of her London home not only for a candid interview, but a video tour to boot!
Sitting down with Vogue’s Kate Phelan, the supermodel breaks her silence to offer a rare glimpse into the very private world behind the even more public face. For starters, there’s the discussion of her landmark 40th birthday celebrated last January and the resulting collaboration that led to this month’s history-making December issue, which not only features her as the cover star, but is also dedicated entirely to her legendary career. Speaking of the Mario Testino-lensed photo shoot in which she explores the many different looks she is known for, Kate admits she has a soft spot for her ‘Disco’ look saying, “That’s what I’d do all the time if I could. Every party I have is usually an excuse to get a bit of a show girl outfit on.”
On more private matters, the cover girl opens up on everything from matters of the heart including her ‘first love,’ Mario Sorrenti, to her one “reoccurring fear” and the American reality show she surprisingly loves to watch. See a side of Kate that you’ve never seen before— not to mention a look inside her beautiful London home— in the video above

From Kate Moss’s signature rocker-meets-boho mix to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s love of Balmain, so-called “model-off-duty” style never ceases to be a source of inspiration for everyday dressing. Unlike many street-style stars whose painstakingly curated looks are often planned months in advance, models have the uncanny ability to capture the eye of photographers with an effortless pairing of wardrobe basics and straight-from-the runway pieces. And yet, there is one type of model in particular whose innate sartorial prowess never fails to inspire: We are of course, talking about the world’s top Chinese supermodels.
You know them as the famous faces behind such global brands as Estee Lauder, Chanel, and Maybelline, but off the runway, Liu Wen, Ming Xi, Shu Pei, Fei Fei Sun and Xiao Wen Ju, have the potential to teach you a thing or two about creative off-duty dressing. Black skinny jeans and white tees? Not on these models— they’re changing the game of fashion one quirky, brightly-colored accessory at a time. Inspired by their fearless wardrobe choices, we put together a master list of the do’s and don’ts to dressing like a Chinese super. Scroll through the photos below and get a jump on your new and improved street style look today! Read the rest of this entry »

Back in June it was revealed that Cara Delevingne would be the first ever solo face of Topshop – a campaign even Kate Moss hasn’t bagged. As part of her Topshop job description she has starred in the retail giant’s fall 2014 campaign and opened the show at London Fashion Week back in September. Now, assuming her duties as brand ambassador once again, Cara stars as the face of Topshop’s new holiday campaign featuring a plethora of party-appropriate items, from sparkly dresses to feather-embellished shoes.
Shot by Alasdair McLellan at London’s legendary Annabel’s Club (better known as the members-only establishment frequented by royals like Prince Harry and famous fashion-y people like Kate and Naomi Campbell), Cara lights up the set in a flurry of festive frocks and novelty tights. Of course, that’s not to say that she doesn’t bring her own ‘Cara’ touch to the festivities. Wrapped in twinkle lights and wreath of sleigh bells, Cara sheds her seductive glamazon image to do what she does best in the campaign video: i.e. goof around on set, lip synch into a microphone and punch at a disco ball while wearing boxing gloves. It’s all very Cara, and therefore, impossible to resist.
The full holiday collection is now live on Topshop.com. Before you head over to shop, check out the full campaign video above and browse all of the gorgeous party-ready images below. Read the rest of this entry »
