We knew Liu Wen had something big in store for us when she posted a photo of herself wearing the Apple Watch at a Colette store event during Paris Fashion Week this month. At the time, the model hinted that she might have worked with the tech device before, and now we know why.
Wrapped around the wrist of the Chinese supermodel, the Apple Watch is making its editorial debut on the cover of the November issue of Vogue China. Shot by Davis Sims and styled by Karl Templer, the supermodel is seen a multi-color striped Celine dress paired with her 38mm Apple Watch in 18-carat yellow gold— the same one she wore in her much buzzed-about Instagram post.

Today, we tip our hats to BuzzFeed for uncovering a series of old photos of the model from when she was first discovered—she won a modeling competition hosted by Dolly magazine that simultaneously skyrocketed her to modeling stardom— just in time for our weekly “Throwback Thursday” post. At the time, Miranda told the magazine that that she was “totally excited” about the shoot, and described her mom as “my hero,” among other adorable teenage statements. Naomi Campbell is ready to do her part for the Ebola crisis with the help of the fashion industry. The supermodel’s Fashion For Relief foundation, which was founded back in 2005 to aid relief for Hurricane Katrina victims, will return this February with two fashion shows to help raise awareness and money for the fight against the life-threatening disease. The organization’s efforts will kick off during New York Fashion Week and follow with a second show during London Fashion Week that same month.
Speaking to Page Six, Naomi, who has a home in Kenya and travels quite frequently, admitted that she’s “scared” about the outbreak and believes that “people don’t have a clear idea about what Ebola is.”
Naomi has previously created Fashion for Relief shows to benefit relief efforts in Haiti and Japan, with participants like Kate Moss, Agyness Deyn, Karolina Kurkova, Jane Fonda, and Beyonce, and supporters Diane von Furstenberg and Dolce & Gabbana. While the show is still in its early planning stages, the supermodel revealed she has some big surprises in store for the charitable event, including a “surprise grand dame” and a possible Hollywood partnership.
