Is Suki Waterhouse Set to Make Her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Debut?

Let the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show casting rumors begin!

With the annual VS Fashion Show just over a month away, Suki Waterhouse has sparked rumors that she may be the latest addition to the brand’s model army.  The model/actress posted a picture of herself to Instagram on Tuesday wearing an elaborate feathered headpiece and wings with an embellished bodysuit featuring some serious cut-outs.  While no mention of the hotly anticipated runway show was made — “Top of the Pcoks” was all she wrote in the photo’s caption — we can’t think of any other job where such a costume would be necessary.  Unless of course she just landed a role as a Vegas showgirl, in which case, we’re equally as intrigued.

Of course, with just two days to go until Halloween, the photo may just be a hint at this year’s show-stopping costume.  Still, considering the fact that Suki is one of Britain’s top models and a budding Hollywood actress— not to mention Bradley Cooper’s girlfriend — it seems highly plausible that Victoria’s Secret would consider adding her to the roster.  And with the show moving to London for the first time ever this year, what better time to initiate another gorgeous Britt into the Angel family?

As for right now, casting for the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is still a couple weeks away, so we’ll simply have to wait to see what role Suki will play— if any— in this year’s show.  In the meantime, while the Angels prepare to take their gorgeousness across the pond for the wold’s most spectacular runway show yet, we’re left day dreaming about what the brand’s first London show will look like (hopefully).  From the all-star model cast, to the star-studded front row and the exclusive performances, we’ve imagined what we consider to be the ideal Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, but with a exciting London twist (obvious Harry Styles reference included).  VS execs take note— THIS is what we’re hoping to see on runway come December!

Chanel Iman and A$AP Rocky Have Called It Quits!

We’d never have guess it back in May when Chanel Iman and A$AP Rocky strolled hand-in-hand down the red carpet at the annual Met Ball, but E! Online reports that the stylish couple have officially called it quits!

“They are no longer together,” a source told  E! News. “This happened a few weeks ago. It was just not working out with both of their busy travel schedules. Time away from each other played a big part in the break-up.”

The couple were pictured together at Coachella in April and were rumored shortly after to have gotten engaged. More recently, the two were photographed by Mikael Jansson for a Dirty Dancing-inspired spread in Vogue’s September issue, in which Chanel modeled the season’s “best date-night dress.”

In the end, the pair holds no grudges as they enter a new chapter in their lives.  ”They don’t have any hard feelings,” the source added. “[They] only want the best for each other in the long run.”

In the wake of their split, we’re taking one final look back at the couple’s finest fashion moments to date.  We for one are going to miss seeing these two together on the red carpet.

Lottie Moss Just Score Her First Major Campaign!

If earning a legit modeling contract and posing for a Calvin Klein capsule collection haven’t yet convinced you of Charlotte (aka Lottie) Moss‘ supermodel potential, consider this: the 16-year-old just scored her first major fashion campaign!

“Mini Moss” as the British media has so aptly christened her, has been tapped as the face of the new Red Valentino fall/winter 2014 campaign shot by the esteemed Tim Walker.  In the new adverts, Lottie poses in a studio portrait juxtaposed with more quirky shots including set designs with Disney illustrations. It’s all really quite charming. And while Kate Moss herself has never front a campaign for the storied label (hard to believe, no?), she has worked with Walker a number occasions, proving yet again that Lottie is set to follow in her iconic footsteps. Faux-Pas No More? The Models are Making a Case for Matching Your Lipstick to Your Outfit Once Again

At it’s worst, it’s been called tacky; at it’s best a safe choice.   But for a growing number of today’s top models, it appears that matching your lipstick to your outfit may be a faux-pas of the past!

After a summer of ‘no-makeup’ makeup and model-off-duty buns, coordinating your lipstick shade to your look—with its carefully devised, not-quite-so-effortless implications— suddenly feels fresh again for fall thanks to a few of our favorite style-setters. Karolina Kurkova was among one of the early adopters of the trend, thrusting it into the beauty spotlight when she matched a shocking red Armani Privé coat with an identical shade of crimson lipstick at Vogue Italia’s 50th anniversary celebration last month.  At the time, the look felt like just a subversive play on an outdated beauty convention, but when Chanel Iman answered Karolina’s red alert with a coordinating deep purple lip and Michael Kors dress just a few weeks later, we knew the tides were changing.  Then as if to seal the deal, Lily Aldridge chose a rose silk duster and identical flesh-toned lipstick for last week’s Thakoon’s 10th anniversary party, giving us all of the evidence we needed to jump on the monochrome makeup-and-outfit movement.

What we love about this trend is that it’s not only classically chic, but also refreshingly innovative.  To keep things modern, follow their lead and pair your favorite shade with matte skin, sleek, simple hair, and one show-stopping ensemble!

Did Cara Delevingne Just Score the Role of a Lifetime?

At the rate that Cara Delevingne is going these days, is may not be much longer until we start labeling her as an ‘actress and former model.’

In continued proof that Cara is a Hollywood star on the rise, it’s been reported that the 22-year-old is being considered for a major role in director David Ayer’s upcoming comic book blockbuster, Suicide Squad.  According to The Latino Review, Warner Bros. is seriously considering the aspiring actress for the meaty part of Harley Quinn, in what is shaping up to be DC Comics’ next big box office hit.

For those that don’t know, Harley Quinn is one of the famous Batman villains—the sidekick and unrequited lover of the Joker. She has been a feature of recent incarnations of the Suicide Squad— a government-run group of super villains sent on covert, black ops missions.

To add fuel to the rumor mill flame, Cara recently Instagrammed a caricature of herself as Harley Quinn alongside the caption, “Dress up time!!”

Now sure, this could just be a coincidence.  Perhaps just a hint to this year’s Halloween costume?  But considering the fact that she currently has six major projects in production including roles in Michael Winterbottom’s Amanda Knox biopic, The Face Of An Angel, Jack Schreier’s Paper Towns, and Joe Wright’s Peter Pan adaptation, Panwe’re betting this is more than just a rumor.

Meanwhile, the film has also been attached to a number of other big names including, Will Smith, Ryan Gosling, Tom Hardy and Margot Robbie.  Needless to say, should this rumor pan out for Cara, it could be the role of a lifetime.

Stay tuned!
