Is This Evidence of a Cara Delevingne and Beyonce Collaboration?

Aside from a few front-row appearances at Topshop Unique and Burberry Prorsum, the once ubiquitous Cara Delevingne has remained noticeably absent from the fashion week scene this season.  At first, we assumed that her absence was a strategic move on her part to free up time for her burgeoning acting career, but as it turns out, there may be something else entirely keeping her from Fashion Month: her music career.

On Saturday evening, both Cara and Beyonce (yes, the Beyonce) each posted strikingly similar photos to Instagram of their hands fiddling with what appeared to be the same audio mixer.  You know, like the kind you would use to produce a studio album.  Seeing as how the photos were posted at almost exactly the same time, we can only assume that this means one thing: Cara and Queen Bey are recording sweet, sweet music together!

And Your 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie of the Year Is…

The votes are in and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue ‘Rookie of the Year’ is…Kelly Rohrbach!

Despite the issue being the 25-year-old’s first professional modeling shoot, the all-American beauty and Georgetown graduate was able to beat out six other first-year models for this year’s title— earning a whopping 39 percent of the final vote.

For her SI debut, the blonde bombshell traveled to Big Sur, California, where photographer Yu Tsai captured her in all of her bikini glory.  At the rate she’s going, we may be seeing Kelly on a cover in the very near future. After all, it wasn’t long ago that SI was crowning cover girls Kate UptonChrissy Teigen and Nina Agdal Rookie of the Year.

Congratulations Kelly on earning this year’s coveted title!  Check out your new 2015 ‘Rookie of the Year’ hard at work below!

Modelinia AM Reads: The Top 10 Models of New York Fashion Week Fall 2015

The Dolce & Gabbana show is always an unabashed celebration of fashion and women, and the Fall 2015 collection was no exception.  In an ode to motherhood, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana had models– including a pregnant Bianca Balti and new mom Ashleigh Good- step out onto the runway holding their babies or the hands of several little bambinos.  Viva la Mamma! ~ Style.com

Speaking of babies, fashion’s model moms club just received its new member: Lily Cole!  The 27-year-old model-actress announced on Saturday that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kwame Ferreira via…a Post-it note of all things! ~ Instagram

Remember that supposedly un-Photoshopped photo of Cindy Crawford that went viral last month in a big way? Well, as it turns out, the photo was not only a leak, but a “significantly altered” leak!  In a letter from photographer John Russo’s legal team, the lensman alleges that the photograph was stolen and “significantly doctored” and “fraudulent.” ~ ABC News

In ongoing investigations: the L.A. police are reporting that the pearl-encrusted dress worn by Lupita Nyong’o to the Oscars has been recovered. According to the Internet, the Calvin Klein dress, which was valued at $150,000, was found in a hotel bathroom after TMZ received an anonymous call about its whereabouts. Even more surprising? The pearls are reportedly fake! ~ New York Times

As Peter Dundas presented his swan-song for Emilio Pucci this weekend at Milan Fashion Week, talk naturally turned to his next move: Roberto Cavalli.  As predicted late last year, Dundas is a frontrunner for the top job at the Italian fashion house should the man himself, Roberto, choose to step down.  Still, Pucci’s parent company LVMH is determined to keep mum on the issue, sending the rumor mill into a certified tizzy. ~ New York Times

Followers of Rachel Zoe and her online publication “The Zoe Report” will soon be able to have a bit of the celebrity stylist shipped to their front door.  The celebrity stylist is jumping into the subscription box fray with the launch of “Box of Style,” a quarterly subscription service that will send packages stuffed with five to eight items each season. Boxes are priced at $100 a season or $350 for a full year, and will include everything from fashion and beauty to the home market. ~ WWD

While fashion month seems like a grueling four weeks for editors and buyers, it’s perhaps most exhausting for the models. It takes a special breed of model to walk dozens of shows per year, but the ones who can pull off the impressive feat hold a special place in the business for seasons to come. So, who was this year’s top catwalker? Following the end of New York Fashion Week, we tasked ourselves with narrowing down the top models of the season.  See who took home this year’s top 5 spots here! ~ Modelinia

Look of the Week: Gigi Hadid’s Heart-Racing Atelier Versace Gown

As expected, Sunday night’s Academy Awards in LA were filled with some of the biggest names in Hollywood — from box-office stars to legendary directors, to a coterie of models including the likes of Behati Prinsloo, Chrissy Teigen, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Karlie Kloss.  But of all the amazing red carpet looks, one in particular stood out: Gigi Hadid‘s architectural Atelier Versace gown.  With it’s unique asymmetrical design, intricately placed cut-outs and a slit that went all the way up the thigh, the slinky number had no problem standing out among the masses of runway-ready designs.  Of course, we’re sure that also had something to do with the bombshell making her way down the carpet (can you say legs for days?!). Still, Gigi’s heart-racing gown is proof that head-to-toe black need not be boring — all you need is a little design ingenuity and of course, those killer curves don’t hurt either.

The Models’ Best Reactions to #TheDress

If you’ve been online or anywhere near your phone in the past few hours, it’s likely that you’ve been piqued by #TheDress debate. While most of the country was either in bed sleeping (or in our case, watching the Victoria’s Secret Swim Special), a viral image of a dress that appears black and blue to some and white and gold to others broke the Internet. The world was divided into two camps: #blueandblack and #whiteandgold (and then there’s the confused folks who are aren’t sure where they lie). Opinions were laid bare, passionate debates were had, and eventually, the models took sides. Here’s, where Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge and others stand on the #DressGate 2015:
