Victoria’s Secret and Valentine’s Day go hand-in-hand like Anna Wintour and Vogue; it’s impossible to think of one without the other. This year, Victoria’s Secret brought together almost all of the Angels for their 2012 Valentine’s Day campaign featuring Erin Heatherton, Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge, Doutzen Kroes, Lindsay Ellingson, and Lais Ribeiro.

With only twelve days left until the celebrated day of love and sexy lingerie, Victoria’s Secret just released this behind-the-scenes video, which includes some of the Angels’ gift advice for Valentine’s Day. Doutzen’s a firm believer in buying your special someone something that you like as a playful hint, while Lily says the way to win her over is to give her something “thoughtful and sweet.”  Regardless of if you’re in the market for Valentine’s Day gift advice, this video is hands-down one of the best behind-the-scenes Victoria’s Secret shoots we’ve ever seen. Angels, wings, and gorgeous hair! What more do you need!?

Joining the likes of Bianca Balti and Doutzen Kroes, Barbara Palvin is the latest supermodel to be named a global ambassador of L’Oreal Paris. “I’m very excited about the prospect of joining the L’Orèal Paris family alongside huge, iconic celebrities such as Gwen Stefani and Claudia Schiffer,” the 18-year-old super told WWD.  ”I have a very personal vision of beauty, which is very closely aligned with their modern approach.”

Barbara will be the face of the brand’s new lipstick “Rouge Caresse” which adds a very slight and natural hint of color to the lips and will appear in both print and televised ads starting this month. “[Barbara] is a very promising supermodel with a fascinating personality, fresh and elegant beauty, with a great sense of humor and astonishing maturity,” L’Orèal’s president Cyril Chapuy said. “I think she has this incredible potential to become a household name.”

Models 4 Water co-founders Heide Lindgren and Georgie Badiel rang NASDAQ’s opening bell yesterday alongside several of the charity’s global ambassadors including Carola Remmer and Lisa Seiffert. Heide and Georgie started Models 4 Water with the mission to change the lives of women in Burkina Faso (Georgie’s hometown) by building clean and sustainable drinking water systems. By ringing the bell at NASDAQ yesterday, they hope to increase awareness and support for their organization’s main cause: bringing clean drinking water, the most basic human need, to everyone.

LOVE Magazine went above and beyond with their model selection for their upcoming issue which hits newsstands Monday, February 6th. First we saw an intimate image of Kate Moss and Lara Stone wearing kitten ears, and now we’ve got the cover featuring the legendary Linda Evangelista. LOVE is known for having outstanding covers (remember Lara Stone’s salaciously nude cover?), but they usually have more than one per issue. For this Spring/Summer 2012 “After Taste” issue however, Linda is the one and only cover, further proving our theory that the return of the original supermodel is here to stay.
