The stripped pant has long been a staple among the rock n’ roll set, but as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley proved earlier this week, it’s also a chic alternative to your basic jeans.
Spotted in New York City on Wednesday, the supermodel looked especially elegant wearing a pair of navy blue and white stripped trousers and a matching menswear-inspired blazer. To elevate the look, Rosie added a streamlined Givenchy Antigona handbag, complete with subtle, striped trim, a pair of blue suede pumps and Stella McCartney’s famed cat-eye sunglasses. Of course, you don’t have to be a supermodel to pull the English Rose’s runway-ready look. Vertical stripes will help elongate the leg, giving you the freedom to invest in a skinny pair like these from Saint Laurent (and they’re on now sale). Tack on a tailored blazer or menswear-inspired cardigan, a structured top-handle bag and pointy-toe pumps and you’re good to go!
On Thursday night, Karlie Kloss was in true Angel form as she attended the annual ‘Evening of Wishes’ Gala benefitting Met-A-Wish Metro New York. Held at Cipriani Wall Street, the supermodel joined photographer and longtime Make-A-Wish supporter, Nigel Barker, at the spectacular black-tie event honoring Jim Amine and FOX News’ Maria Bartiromo.
The Victoria’s Secret Angel was the picture of elegance dressed in a peach Donna Karan Atelier chiffon gown, which wrapped delicately around her slim physique. Her famed cropped tresses looked especially sun-kissed, and paired well with her dewy complexion, as she took the time to pose with two real-life princesses. Read the rest of this entry »

Candice Swanepoel showed the world exactly why she was named Maxim‘s Hottest Woman of the Year when she hit the red carpet at the Hot 100 party in West Hollywood last night. Held at the Pacific Design Center, the Victoria’s Secret Angel —who smoldered in a black leather crop top and matching skin-tight pants— was joined by fellow Maxim hotties Lydia Hearst, Lisalla Montenegro and Samanatha Hoopes, along a number of VIPs including Drake, Sophia Bush, Paris Hilton and Chris Brown.
Meanwhile, back in New York, supermodel Karolina Kurkova joined Valentina Zalyaeva, Jamie Bochert and VS Pink model Elsa Hosk at the annual amfAR Gala held at the Plaza Hotel. The Czech supermodel put on an elegant display, gliding across the red carpet in a white floor-length design featuring a bow-tie collar, long-sleeves and a delicate train. Not to be outdone, Valentina opted for a dazzling silver Ralph Lauren dress, while Elsa looked tres chic in a pair of white wide-leg pants and sheer gold blouse.
Downtown at the Curve Boutique in Soho, models Anais Mali, Cindy Bruna, Elisabeth Erm, Isabelle Sauer and Gabriela Fuentes joined VIPs Scott Lipss, Jonathan Simkhai, Brian Atwood and Leandra Medine at the opening of the new ”CURVE Gallery” and it’s inaugural exhibition: “Donald by the Yard” — a large scale work by artist Donald ‘Drawbertson.’ Despite the gloomy weather that afternoon, the models turned out in style with Anais rocking a pair of killer thigh-high lace-up boots and denim cutoffs, and Isabelle and Gabriela wearing chic designs by ICB.

British model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is affectionately known as “Rosebud” to her friends due to her endearing disposition and yes, those lips. And yet, on the set of VIOLETGREY’s June Issue cover story, the supermodel radiates a very different kind of energy.
Dressed in a black leather trench coat, scarlet red lips and matching elongated nails, Rosie takes center stage in the online magazine’s latest cover story, “Wet Hot Summer,” which launched online earlier today. Shot on location at the Palm Desert home of Hollywood producer Jerry Weintraub, Rosie proves she’s ‘no sugar, all spice,’ posing in a high-cut bodysuit and a vintage chiffon gown with her blonde hair gleaming in the desert sun. Though she appears to be the same drop-dead gorgeous bombshell of her Victoria’s Secret days, the British beauty is somehow clouded in an air of mystery and intrigue, drawing us in with each snap of her bee-stung lips.
