The Supers Invade the 21st Annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

As if the Cannes Film Festival could get any more glamorous, Thursday’s annual Cinema Against AIDS amfAR Gala brought the week-long red carpet affair to a close with more swoon-worthy gowns and gorgeous top models than we could count!

Before the show even started, the models were already turning heads outside the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, where they flaunted their latest high-fashion ensembles for the crowd.  Alessandra Ambrosio put the “bomb” in bombshell in her white cut-out Roberto Cavalli gown, while Irina Shayk sparkled in pale pink Atelier Versace dress, which was draped over a sequin mini, revealing a perfectly tanned and toned leg.  Heidi Klum also opted for a bit of Versace tonight, dazzling in a beaded pastel blue number and Bulgari jewels.  That shade of blue was a popular one among the models tonight, with both Jessica Hart and Liu Wen stepping out in beautiful, flowy gowns of the same color.

L’Oreal Paris’ team of supermodel brand ambassadors including Lara Stone, Karlie Kloss, Barbara Palvin and Bianca Balti were also in attendance this evening.  New mom Lara Stone flaunted her fabulous figure in a cropped bodice and full skirt featuring bronze studded details and embellishments.  Meanwhile, Karlie opted for a beaded ’20s-inspred navy Chanel dress and silver flats, while Barbara Palvin gave a peek at her runway-ready physique in a sheer floor-length black gown.

Following the models’ sparkling walk down the runway, the beauties joined their fellow A-listers, including Leonardo DiCaprio— the actor turned up to support both the cause and his girlfriend Toni Garrn, who he shared a rare moment of PDA with out on the dance floor—  Sharon Stone, Justin Beiber and Marion Cotillard, for the traditional full-course dinner and silent auction, the proceeds from which benefit AIDS research.  The auction got off to an impressive start, with Carine’s entire one-of-a-kind red fashion collection going for $3.5 million.  As the bids kept coming in, guests saw one lucky bidder pay $15 million for a gold-plated woolly mammoth skeleton by Damien Hirst, while enjoying a memorable performance Lana Del Ray.  By the end of the event, the Cannes A-listers were able to raise a record-breaking $35 million for AIDS research— an incredible feat to say the least!

Below, you’ll find all of the model looks from Thursday’s amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala red carpet, including Coco Rocha, Nadja Bender, Bar Refaeli, Toni Garrn and more.  And stay tuned as we continue to update with more photos and tidbits live from the 2014 Cannes Film Festival!

Supermodels Hit the Deck at Roberto Cavalli’s Cannes Yacht Party

It’s not Cannes without a champagne-filled bash on Roberto Cavalli’s yacht, and last night the A-list definitely got its fair share at the designer’s annual dinner party.

Making the latest stop on the Cannes party circuit, supermodels Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, Irina Shayk and Coco Rocha joined a number of their fellow catwalkers

Joining such VIPS as John Travolta, Justin Beiber, Andrea Bocelli and Kellan Lutz, the supermodels turned out in droves in their red carpet finest for what will surely be a highlight of this year’s festival.

After turning heads in a gorgeous white beaded Emilio Pucci dress at the Puerto Azul Experience event, Alessandra Ambrosio made time for a quick wardrobe change before hitting the deck in a low-cut coral-colored gown by the Italian designer.

Also making their way from the Puerto Azul Experience for a stop on the party yacht was the beautiful Heidi Klum and Coco Rocha, both of whom looked effortless glamourous in matching all-white looks.  Heidi stunned in a slinky white Versace gown paired with gilded Bulgari jewels, while Coco dazzled in an embellished Roberto Cavalli suit topped off with pieces from her new Oh So Coco Bauble Bar collection.  We for one couldn’t take our eyes of the super’s statement pearl ear cuff!

Meanwhile, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Irina Shayk were spotted posing for photos alongside Mr. Cavallli himself, all the while showcasing their figure-flattering bombshell gowns— Rosie a sexy black hip-hugging bandage dress with cut-outs at the side and Irina a semi-sheer beaded Cavalli gown.

Among the other famous catwalkers showcasing the designer’s looks on board were Izabel Goulart, Liu Wen, Natasha Poly, Jacquelyn Jablonski, Sasha Luss and Barbara Palvin, who was also spotted spending a considerable amount of time with former rumored fling Justin Beiber.  Could a romance be brewing in Cannes?  We’ll just have to wait and see.

In the meantime, you can see all of the amazing model looks from last night’s Roberto Cavalli bash after the jump!

The Cannes Frock-athon Continues!

Look out Blake Lively— there’s a new glamazon taking over the Cannes red carpet!

On Wednesday, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley made her official red carpet debut, stepping out for “The Search” premiere in a ravishing dove grey Gucci gown featuring a floor-sweeping skirt and a slim ribbon belt cinched at the waist.  What’s more, it was covered in gleaming silver glass beads to match the model’s glitzy chandelier earrings, statement ring and silver heels.  A true stunner!

Rosie arrived in France two days ago— in her very own private jet no less—  and was soon treating the masses to a plethora of chic with a short and sweet Victoria Beckham frock for the Magnum short film photocall. Then last night, she was spotted cutting loose with her fellow catwalkers - Cara Delevingne and Toni Garrn included – for a swanky night at the De Grisogono party, where she flaunted a Cushnie Et Ochs cut-out gown.

Speaking of Cara, the British beauty also returned to the festival’s red carpet today, this time opting for a strapless metallic mini dress, black sandals and a black and white Chanel clutch.  Lara Stone also turned heads as she made her first ever Cannes appearance in a hot pink Calvin Klein asymmetrical gown, while Russian supermodel Irina Shayk flashed her runway-ready legs in an embellished neon green gown featuring a thigh-high slit and a matching head scarf.

With the annual amfAR gala and Carine Roitfeld-directed fashion show on the agenda for tomorrow, we’re expecting to see even more jaw-dropping gown and supermodel red carpet moments.  Until then, catch up on all of the models’ glorious Cannes red carpet gown in the slideshow below:

Cara Delevingne, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and More Turn Out for the De Grisogono Bash

The film premieres may be the big draw of the Cannes Film Festival during the day, but come nightfall, its the after parties where the real magic happens.  Case and point: Tuesday night’s De Grisogono ‘Fatale’ party, which brought out arguably the biggest model turn out yet!

Held at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cannes, the party thrown by the Swiss jewelry company in honor of Sharon Stone, was hands-down the hottest ticket in town, featuring a fashion show, a live orchestra, a 4-D projection — which temporarily turned the hotel into a moving box —a gig by R&B singer Jason Derulo and a dinner based on fresh crab, passion fruit and vanilla. As expected, the lavish fete drew a number of high-profile names including supermodels Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Toni Garrn, Anne Vyalitsyna, Izabel Goulart, Natasha Poly, and VIPS such as Amber Heard, Justin Beiber, Riley Keough and Rosario Dawson.

Hot off her sister Poppy’s wedding last week, Cara Delevingne made her first appearance in Cannes at the De Grisogono bash, taking to the red carpet in a white beaded Roberto Cavalli gown with a low scooping back, and a necklace, worn in reverse so that it fell down her back—an attempt to show off her new neck tattoo perhaps?
