WattsUp? Behati, Jessica Hart and Gigi Hadid Celebrate Ben Watts’ Latest Collaboration

With Memorial Day weekend looming just around the corner and temperatures finally hinting at summer, this week provided the perfect opportunity for revelers to clink glasses and join in the celebration of the release of Ben Watts‘s latest wine, the aptly titled WattsUp Rosé.  The vibrant pink-hued wine that hails from Rioja, Spain, is a collaboration between the Rosé-enthusiast photographer and wine producer and e-tailer Wine Awesomeness, a thoroughly modern wine club that started out of Charleston, South Carolina.  On Monday night, Watts and Alicia Rountree, his gorgeous host for the evening, took to New York’s Tartinery cafe for the wine’s official release party, where the models were aplenty.  Behati Prinsloo was spotted posing for pics with One Model Management’s Scott Lipps, Gigi Hadid and Hailey Clauson shared laughs in a corner booth, and all the while guests showed off Watts’ signature “shhhh” move.

For an exclusive inside look at the model-filled fete featuring photographers by the photographer-turned-wine connoisseur  himself, see below:

Kendall Jenner Kicks Off the 2014 Cannes Film Festival

The 65th Cannes Film Festival kicked off earlier today and already we’re being treated to a major model debut!

Kendall Jenner, the latest Kardashian to receive Anna Wintour’s seal of approval and the rumored face of Topshop, hit the red carpet for the Opening Ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival today, sporting a super chic monochrome Chanel gown.

The split-leg midi dress featured a black form-fitting skirt and a dramatic ‘scrunched’ white printed bodice.  The round overlay looked like it was made out of circular layers of fabric with frayed edges, much like an over-sized corsage. The up-and-coming model paired the graphic look with a pair of black strappy sandals, a silver Chanel box clutch, and piles of sparkling diamond Chopard accessories— we’re talking an ear cuff, a gleaming bracelet, and two giant rings!

Kendall reportedly arrived in Cannes earlier today, flying into Nice airport earlier this afternoon.  Upon arriving to the hotel, the model shared a snap of herself on Instagram soaking up the sunshine and jaw-dropping view from a balcony overlooking the sea.  ”Hi Cannes!” she wrote.

While the trip marks a first for Kendall, our sources say the model will soon be joined by a number of Cannes vets, including Karlie Kloss, Toni Garrn, Arizona Muse, Alessandra Ambrosio, Liu Wen, Adriana Lima Heidi Klum, and Karolina Kurkova among others.

As we prepare to celebrate the yearly supermodel-filled fashion extravaganza otherwise known as the Cannes Film Festival, join us as we take a look back at the models most memorable Cannes moments of years past.  From Kate Moss‘s glorious Johnny Depp days, to showstopping looks by Doutzen Kroes, Cara Delevingne, and more, scroll through the slideshow below for the models’ most glamourous looks to date:

Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne Party Like Royals at Prince William’s Star-Studded Fete

Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne may be considered fashion royalty, but on Tuesday night, the supermodels were truly living the life of a queen as they joined Prince William at Windsor Castle for an exclusive charity dinner to celebrate the work of The Royal Marsden sponsored by fashion designer Ralph Lauren.

Joined by a glittering guest list that included Cate Blanchett, Emma Watson, Mario Testino, and Margot Robbie among others, Kate and Cara looked equally as stunning as they traded in their model off-duty wares for elegant black evening gowns.  Kate, who arrived on the arm of her husband Jamie Hince, looked particularly radiant as she posed for pictures in a slinky black dress, which featured a thigh-high split and a single long sheer sleeve.  And while we’re sure Cara would have preferred a pair of tailored trousers for the occasion, the catwalker impressed nonetheless in a sleeveless gown with an intricate beaded bodice and a long skirt —a regal look in deed!

Sadly, The Duchess of Cambridge  and baby George weren’t present for the star-studded shindig– the pair were taking a much-needed break from the limelight following their much followed Royal Tour of Australia last month.  Thankfully, we have these images of Kate chatting up Prince William to cheer us up.

Check out those photos and more after the jump!

Models Share the Inside Look at the Chanel’s Decadent Dubai Cruise Show

Karl Lagerfeld staged his latest Chanel Cruise show in Dubai earlier today, and while we weren’t able to witness the runway show first hand (sorry Karl, our  invitation must have gotten lost in the mail), we were able to get a sneak peek at all of the decadent Arabian action with the help of  a few thoughtful catwalkers.

The Chanel crew, including Joan Smalls, Lindsey Wixson, Crystal Renn, Caroline Brasch Nielson and Ming Xi arrived at the Middle East hotspot yesterday, at which point the models immediately took to Instagram to share the behind-the-scenes look at what was no doubt one of Mr. Lagerfeld’s most extravagant Chanel journeys yet.  Joan, Nadja and Sasha Luss were among the models snapping pics poolside at the hotel, while Binx Walton, Larissa Hofmann, Anna Ewers, Amanda Wellish and others enjoyed a group dinner with a view.

Of course, once the runway action had actually kicked off, that’s when the real fashion fun began. Taking place on a remote island off the coast of Dubai, this season’s show was reportedly a much more intimate affair than that of season’s past, but stunning nonetheless, as evidenced by the models’ behind-the-scenes shots.  Joan Smalls tweeted a photo of her stunning beauty look, which included graphic smokey eyes with gold foil at the inner corners and a crystal-embellished moon headpiece.  Hairstylist Sam McKnight also shared a number of model-filled shots ahead of the show, including one of Nadja Bender and Kati Nescher giving off major ’70s vibes in bohemian maxi dresses and thick, giant curls.  Think Saturday Night Fever meets Arabian princess.

And did we mention that there were quite a few camels involved?  We’ll leave the photo to do the explaining for us. In the meantime, check out all of the model spoilers below and keep checking back for more Chanel news and runway updates!
