The Spring 2014 collections won’t be available in stores for months to come, but when you’re a supermodel with as much clout as Heidi Klum, those seasonal wardrobe restrictions simply do not apply.
Case and point: last night’s “America’s Got Talent” finale event, where the celebrity judge stepped out in the exact same tribal-inspired Donan Karan dress modeled on the runway by Karlie Kloss a mere nine days earlier at New York Fashion Week.
While taking a note from the runway, Heidi paired her look with the same sandals from the catwalk, along with her own large hoop earrings and multiple bangles. In terms of beauty, the Emmy-winning TV host opted for the more laid-back pony-tail, rather than mimicking the super sleek, pin-straight strands Karlie and the gang sported for Karan show— a wise choice considering the gown’s bold head-to-toe print.
Clearly, Heidi’s fashion influence goes all the way to the top, as few celebrities have been so lucky to don runway looks ahead of their in-store release date. Of course, when you’re one of the industry’s most successful supermodels, we imagine designers would be jumping at the chance to dress you.
Still, the question remains: Karlie vs. Klum — which super wore it better?
