If there is one thing we know to be true in this world, it’s that one can never really get enough Kate Moss— a sentiment AnOther magazine appears to be on board with if its latest issue is any indication.
Hot on the heels of her new My Burberry fragrance campaign, the supermodel has been tapped as the sole star of the magazine’s new fall 2014 issue, which features four separate covers, each one shot and styled by a different team: namely Willy Vanderperre and Olivier Rizzo, Collier Schorr and Katy England, Craig McDean and Olivier Rizzo, Alasdair Mclellan and Alister Mackie. Much like the image-makers behind-the-scenes, each of the four covers comes complete with its own vision of Kate with themes ranging from Hollywood to Warhol. There’s even an online-only cover that was created in partnership with Burberry will be released on Wednesday.
AnOther posted a preview of the issue on its website on Tuesday, with an excerpt from the editor’s letter by Jefferson Hack, who just so happens to be the father of Moss’s daughter, Lila Grace. In the letter, Hack refers to Kate as “our generation’s most significant fashion icon,” adding: ”She changed the history of fashion by breaking the rules as a model, channelling the ‘don’t give a fuck’ attitude of the noughties into a powerful signature stance of defiance… She did it without a script, without a plan, and seemingly without a care.”
The fall edition of Another, which boasts the most covers Kate has ever done for a single issue, is meant to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of her first unforgettable shoot for AnOther, shot by Craig McDean wearing Alexander McQueen in the Hollywood Hills.
