As hard as our favorite supermodels work, there’s no denying the fact that part of what makes them so super is their incredible genetic selection.  Case and point: supermodel Bar Refaeli, whose resurfaced childhood photos are living proof that from the cradle to the runway, this Israeli babe is a natural-born stunner!

In a series of intimate family photos posted on Instagram by the top model’s proud mama, it’s clear that from day 1 Bar was a natural in front of the camera.  In some of the cutest childhood photos that we’ve ever seen, young Bar can be seen posing alongside her baby brother, dancing in a tutu and cuddling up with the family’s pets.  With her long blonde locks and enchanting smile, it’s easy to see how this youngster was able to land her first modeling job at just eight months old.

Of course, that’s not to say that Bar doesn’t work hard to maintain her level of statuesque beauty and top model success.  As a former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covergirl and Maxim‘s ‘Hottest Woman Alive’ in 2012, Bar knows what it takes to stay in shape and bikini-ready. In the past, the bombshell has advocated the benefits of living a consistently healthy lifestyle, claiming to stay away from fad diets and diet extremes. “I do cardio every day, mostly running,” said Bar previously of her workout routine.  “[I] watch what I eat, but never starve myself.”

Clearly, those early backyard photo sessions paid off as Bar has quickly grown into one of the world’s most beautiful and well-known cover girls, earning fashion credits in glossies across the globe including Elle France, Maxim, Esquire, and GQ Italy.  As of late, Bar has even made the transition into the world of fashion and entertainment with the launch of her bespoke underwear collection, under.me, and the debut of her first ever Super Bowl commercial, helping to make her one of the most-followed supermodels on social media today!

Big hair is everywhere!  From the Fall 2013 runway at L’Wren Scott and Marc by Marc Jacobs to Carola Remer, Doutzen Kroes and Maud Welzen in March’s magazine pages, we have been seeing volume and lots of it.  Whether teased or sprayed, these ceiling high tresses are putting straight locks and ponies to shame.  With Spring approaching, it’s that time of year to let your hair down, but don’t worry, we weren’t about to leave you without some model-approved insider advice to get you started.  When we talked Hair Talk, with celebrity hairdresser,  Jen Atkin, who has worked on models like Jessica Stam and Chrissy Teigen, she recommended Volume Root Boost Shampoo and Conditioner ”for great body and fullness,” making this our new shower staple.

Big hair has been around for quite some time and is stirring up fond memories like Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer in their iconic Revlon campaign. Leave it to supermodel and global philanthropist Natalia Vodianova to raise the Fashion Week bar on us all!

On Sunday, the Russian beauty sent gasps throughout the City of Lights when she swapped her usual seat in the front row of Ricardo Tisci’s Givenchy show for a surprise turn on the catwalk as the show’s closer.  Looking almost unrecognizable in a pink 1950′s-style swimming cap, the international superstar strut her stuff in a floor-length couture-esque floral printed gown complete with a stone-embellished top and transparent skirt with a beaded hemline.  And while the super’s flawless beauty was enough to send us into full-on  swoon-mode this morning, it was news of the model’s whereabouts prior to the runway stunt that really sent our jaws to the floor.

Rather than sleeping in or enjoying say, a nice croissant like the rest of us, Natalia took to the streets of Paris to complete her fourth  half-marathon on behalf of Guerlain and her Naked Heart Foundation— that’s 13.1 miles people!  Not that the mother of three was intimidated by the fitness challenge in the slightest.  According to her longtime boyfriend Bernard Arnault, catwalker is a natural talent who doesn’t waste time training before embarking on a grueling marathon.  “I testify 100% to no training before!!! Only ice cream and good french food,” said Arnault of his stunning partner in a Facebook post after the race.

Once she crossed the finished line, Natalia didn’t waste any time in slipping right back into her role as one of the world’s most enviable beauties, trading in her sneakers for a pair of heeled booties to walk for an A-list crowd that included Jessica Chastain, Amanda Seyfried, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and Natalia’s very-own “fashion icon,” her grandmother Larisa, whom the model brought along to watch.  “She always dressed well, had beautiful things – shoes, gloves, scarves – and kept everything in the house pristine,” Natalia told The Telegraph of her relative. “She would get up at 6am, run in the park, swim in the frozen lake, and prepare breakfast by the time I woke up.”

So, marathon hopefulls take note— all you really need to become a champion runner is a lack of training, some hearty french food and one talented grandmother.  Now that sounds like our type of fitness routine!  Of course, we doubt that we would be able to make the same effortless transition from the pavement to the runway as Natalia, who looked completly at ease in her gorgeous Givenchy frock. “Actually on high heels it’s much easier to walk!” said Natalia. “But on flats it feels really tough. I’m feeling it and I felt it all through the marathon, and after. But I’m ok.”

Talk about a fashion trooper!  From leading the marathon pack, to sending the fashion capitol abuzz with her gorgeous features— and most recently her killer shoe collection for Net-a-Porter— clearly there isn’t anything this super can’t do!

Get your DVRs ready people, because primetime TV is going to get a whole lot hotter thanks to supermodel extraordinaire, Heidi Klum!

The multi-talented super has announced this morning that she will be joining the cast of NBC’s hit reality competition show, ‘America’s Got Talent,’ as the program’s fourth celebrity judge— a first for the summer series!  According to earlier reports, Heidi signed a last minute deal with the network yesterday and is wasting no time getting into her new starring role.  The mega star is reportedly flying out to New Orleans today to begin taping the first round of auditions with fellow cast mates Howard Stern, Howie Mandel, newcomer, Mel B. and host Nick Cannon.  Taking her seat behind the judge’s panel, Heidi will have yet another opportunity to show off her never ending list of talents as she helps the judges determine which of the hopeful stars will take home this year’s $1 million grand prize.

“America’s got some serious talent,” said Heidi in recent press release.  ”I’m really excited to join the panel of AGT to see it all — from the ridiculous to the fantastic!  I love the surprise element of the show and not knowing what we’ll see next and who will wow us.”

Needless to say, NBC couldn’t have found a better talent scout for the job than Hedi, after all, if anyone knows talent it’s this super!  On top of being one of fashion’s most celebrated supermodels of all time, the German beauty has also found tremendous success as the designer of several apparel and accessories lines, the host of numerous TV specials and of course, who could forget her role as the host and executive producer of the Emmy Award-nominated reality TV hit Project Runway.  Talk about star power!

“Heidi brings huge experience to ‘America’s Got Talent,’ from her background as a model, designer, actress, TV host, producer and successful businesswoman,” said executive producer Trish Kinane.  ”We warmly welcome her to Season 8 alongside Howie, Howard and Mel B.”

‘America’s Got Talent’ will air this summer and we for one can hardly wait!  With Heidi on board this season we could think of no better way to spend those long summer nights than with one of our favorite supers on live TV.  So stay tuned, because something tells us this is one foursome you won’t want to miss!

If two is better than one, then we might have just found the Holy Grail of all model editorials!

For its Spring ’13 issue, V magazine is doubling up its model-casting efforts by pairing together twelve of this season’s most in-demand models for one spectacular fashion spread.  Shot by photographer Sharif Hamza, the ‘Double Vision’ feature stars more than a few of our Fashion Week favorites including Alana Zimmer, Bette Franke, Catherine McNeil, Constance Jablonski, Hanne Gaby Odiele and Liu Wen as fashion’s perfect pairs in everything from Armani to Valentino.  Up and comers Cora Emmanuel, Sam Rollinson and Martha Hunt are also on hand for the occasion, as are a pair of monkeys and a peacock.

We have to hand it to these girls (and V, of course) because while we’d like to think that we know our models inside and out, even we had trouble telling these beauties apart.  Put your model-deciphering skills to the test and check out the full editorial below to see if you can tell who is who in the model  mix-up.  Get ready, because it’s twinsie time!
