Cara Delevingne has mastered walking, dancing and even taking selfies on the runway, so what’s next for the model who can apparently do it all? Flying, of course!
Joining her Burberry family for a night of music and fashion marking the opening of their new Shanghai flagship on Thursday, Cara channeled her inner Mary Poppins and closed the show with a high-flying performance. After taking her turn on the catwalk alongside fellow Burberry beauties Suki Waterhouse, Malaika Firth, and Matilda Lowther, Cara magically took to the air with her Burberry umbrella in hand, and flew out over the audience as confetti fell from above.
The evening was divided into sections with a performance by George Ezra and dancing Burberry check umbrellas, leading up to the recreation of the Autumn Winter 2014 runway show. As with the show in London, Paloma Faith performed while the models stormed the runway in their personalized scarves.
Prior to hitting the runway, Cara and co. took to the red carpet in coordinating looks pulled straight from the runway. Cara wore a Burberry Prorsum shirt (only buttoned at the top) and a black lace pencil skirt, while Suki opted for the brand’s black lace navel-grazing dress. As for the rest of the Burberry girls, model Malaika Firth wore a gold Burberry Prorsum cocktail dress with a plunging neckline, Matilda Lowther opted for a slinky LBD, and Chinese model Du Juan stunned in a gem-embellished jacket and matching pink pencil skirt.
