Joan Smalls Graces Free People’s Inaugural ‘Magalog’

They have the supermodel following, the dreamy catalogs, and the editorial-style photographs, so naturally, the next logical step for fashion retailer FreePeople is to launch a magazine.  Kicking off this month with “The August Issue” starring cover girl Joan Smalls, Free People steps into the editorial world with its very first magalog.  With 47 pages of exquisite, bohemian-style images, including content by industry leaders such as Kristen Tice Studeman, the magalog is the brand’s very first magazine format catalog, giving readers everything they need to feel reinvigorated and inspired for the coming season.

In addition to Joan’s cover story, which sees the model posing in fall-ready looks ranging from cozy sweaters, fall-ready boots, flawless jackets, rich jewel tones, and intricate embellishments, the magazine also features styling tips, the brand’s favorite fall fashion trends, model exposés, and interviews with DJ Alexandra Richards, Natalie Bergman of the band Wild Belle, and French actress, Rebecca Dayan.

WATCH: Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne Had a Singing-A-Long While Getting Their Matching Tattoos

Last month, supermodel BFFs Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn revealed on Instagram that they’d gotten matching interlocking D tattoos, cementing their bestie status in ink. And now, in a new episode of Well Dunn, Jourdan Dunn’s YouTube show from JAY Z’s Life+Times, we get to see exactly how those tattoos went down.

It all starts when Jourdan steps out of the kitchen and coincidentally runs into her BFF outside her favorite Thai restaurant, Uncle Boons.   While grabbing a quick bit to eat, the girls joke around at the table with Cara sticking various utensils on her face and making various jokes about balls (sticky rice balls, that is).  Not long after, the Topshop model gets to showing off some of her famous tattoos, and explains the origin of her most talked-about tattoo: the “Made in England” stamp on the bottom of her foot. “I was going to get ‘Made in Taiwan’ because I thought it was funnier — I felt like a bit of a doll, a toy that was doing things for other people,” she said.

Is This Miranda Kerr’s Sexiest Campaign Yet?

Miranda Kerr always looks like a total bombshell, but there’s something about her latest gig that is truly next level!

The 31-year old supermodel is getting down right sultry this season as the star of 7 For All Mankind’s Fall/Winter 2014 campaign, and we are swooning!  Shot by famed photographer Sebastian Faena, the idea of the new campaign is #7OBSESSIONS and the concept is an obsessive relationship between a man and a woman with “a woman’s obsession with her jeans.”  It’s an incredibly steamy idea, but the real hook here is Miranda posing topless on a bed wearing nothing but a pair of 7 For All Mankind jeans — an image that would get any man’s heart racing (just ask Orlando Bloom and Justin Beiber).  In one shot in particular, Miranda can be seen lying on her back in a lace bra and skin-tight jeans while Spanish model-actor Jon Kortajarena playfully kisses her stomach. Ohh la la!

Suffering from current season fatigue?  You know, that feeling you get when you’ve worn everything you have with everything else ten times overs.  Don’t worry— it happens to us all.  In fact, we’re guessing it’s a feeling that even Georgia May Jagger may have felt last week when she was spotted running errands in New York City.  But while some would have succumbed to their summer style rut, resorting to the same looks they’ve worn all summer long, Georgia thought outside the box, pairing tailored shorts with a vintage Harley Davidson tee, stacked black patent heels and retro-looking round sunnies.  Polished and low-key.  Edgy and modern.  Georgia’s off-duty ensemble combines the best of both worlds, and more importantly, inspires new ways to wear your favorite band tee that doesn’t involved ripped denim.
