While all designers have their fair share of model BFFs, few share a bond as close as that between Coco Rocha and Zac Posen. What started as a simple fashion week casting for the designer’s spring 2007 runway show, has since evolved into an ongoing collaborative experience and more importantly, a close friendship.

“I’m so excited to be here at my dear friend Zac Posen’s spring 2015 show,” gushed Coco backstage at the designer’s show on Monday.  Though the show was just the latest in the supermodel’s long string of appearances on the designer’s runway — Coco has walked in every single one of Posen’s shows since booking her first one in 2007— it was clear that she was still every bit as excited.  And rightfully so!

On The Scene: Celebrating Versus Versace, Jourdan Dunn’s “Cell for Gratitute” and Opening Ceremony’s First Play

Any other week of the year, Sunday nights are usually reserved for preparing for the coming week and maybe even watching Keeping up with the Kardashians – come #NYFW this is certainly not the case!  This past Sunday night played host to some star-studded (and model filled) events!For the first party of the evening, Jourdan Dunn rounded up all of her supermodel pals (as well as Rihanna) to attend her ‘Cell For Gratitude’ charity event, benefitting the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America.  Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Naomi Campbell, Alex Wek, Joan Smalls, Arlenis Sosa and Toni Garrn partied at the event, held at the Meatpacking District hotspot No. 8 at the Dream Hotel. “I was doing a lot of interviews about my son’s experience, and the Sickle Cell Disease Association was searching for a parent ambassador,” said Dunn, who looked elegant yet party-ready in an Antonio Berardi animal-print minidress. “Riley’s disease was a blessing in disguise, as we’re now able to bring awareness to the cause,” the model explained of her son’s battle. “The key thing that’s vital is blood donation.”

Blue, yellow and bright pink silhouettes floated down the runway at Angel Sanchez’s fashion show today. The evening-wear designer not only brought the color through his clothes, but through his bright and colorful makeup look! The trend this fashion week has been less is more, with neutral nails, plain lips and subdued eyes and faces, but not during this show where color reigned.
