Model Style Report: Kate Moss Proves She’s Still the Queen Leather Jackets

Some would argue that the slip dress is Kate Moss‘ most iconic look, but if you ask us, the supermodel has always been the queen of leather jackets.  Over the years, Kate’s proved that nothing beats a classic biker jacket when looking to polish off an outfit in a snap, and judging by her latest look, it’s clear she hasn’t lost her touch!

Spotted in London on Monday night at the debut of John Galliano’s first collection for Maison Martin Margiela, Kate put a modern spin on classic eveningwear when she paired a sleek biker jacket with her satin evening gown.  The edgy appeal of the jacket provided the perfect contrast to the dress’s more refined silhouette, while her boho-style fringed clutch added just the right amount of texture.  Completing the monochromatic look were suede booties and perfectly undone tresses, giving us all a much-needed lesson in true rock n’ roll glamour.

All hail the queen!

Get Sundance-Ready With Ski Town Looks Inspired By Suki Waterhouse, Elle Macpherson and More

Ready to hit the slopes? The Sundance Film Festival kicks off next week in Park City Utah, thus bringing new life to our cold weather essentials. While this gathering of indie actors and film makers doesn’t quite compete with the red carpet madness better know as award season, it still offers plenty of celebrity style sightings. In fact, seeing stylish actresses like Diane Kruger and Kate Bosworth ditch their usual Hollywood style in favor of something more sporty and casual (and much more bundled up) is what makes this such an appealing hot spot. Sundance dressing is all about blending on-trend statement pieces with practical cold weather clothing— a tidbit we’ve picked up from festival regulars Suki Waterhouse, Elle Macpherson and Dree Hemingway over the years. In anticipation of next week’s celebrity (and hopefully model) style sightings, we’re breaking down these models’ winning Sundance looks of years past to help inspire your own ski town style.  Check out their bundled up looks in the slideshow below!

Runway to Red Carpet: Fashion at the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards

On Sunday night, Hollywood’s biggest and brightest stars gathered at The Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards, and this year, it was all about the glitz and glam— for actresses and models alike!

Though outnumbered by the gaggle of sparkly screen sirens and dapper men in attendance, there was still plenty of model-watching to be had on the red carpet.  Among the first to arrive was powerhouse couple Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, who was nominated (with rapper Common) and later won for Best Original Song for his single “Glory” in the new Martin Luther King Jr. biopic, Selma.  The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl was a model wife stepping out in a jaw-dropping pastel pink Zuhair Murad gown paired with a Tyler Alexandra clutch, Casadei shoes, and jewelry by Harry Kotlar and Suzanne Kalan. Unfortunately, the world had all but forgotten about Chrissy’s winning look the second cameras panned to her during John’s acceptance speech.  Within seconds the model’s “cry face” sparked the first meme of awards season and well, let’s just say the rest is social media history.

Also making waves in the ‘hot couples’ category last night was Victoria’s Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo and husband and Globes presenter, Adam Levine.  The semi-newlyweds were the picture of elegance on the red carpet where Behati displayed her runway-ready figure in a sparkly black Kaufman Franco dress and diamond accessories by DeGrisogono.
