For his Spring 2015 Ready-to-Wear Collection, Zac Posen said he wanted to find a balance between classicism and sexiness – and boy did he deliver. White, black, and red were the only colors seen on the runway, and each was shown tonally. Read the rest of this entry »

Welcome back Tuesday! We’re continuing the week with street style in colorful hues on some of our favorite girls. Our friends at ModelsJam snagged shots of Devon Windsor, Daphne Groeneveld, Malaika Firth, Ming Xi in their off-duty ensembles.
Ming Xi posed in black ripped jeans, a black mesh tee with a colorful sports bra peeking out from under and topping it off with New Balance sneakers. Devon’s look: a black velvet pullover paired with a pair of denim cut-offs, black booties, black Chanel handbag and completing the look with a red lip. One of the reigning looks this fashion week has been white clothing on the runway. Daphne took this trend to the streets with classic white collard shirt and a leather motorcycle pants. Check back in tomorrow for more street style looks throughout the day! Read the rest of this entry »
New York Fashion Week may be coming to a close this week, but you would never know by the looks of last night’s social scene. At the Lake at Central Park, Ralph Lauren’s debut womenswear Polo line took fashion to the future with a 4D holographic runway show. Staged across The Lake at Central Park, holographs of models sporting the new spring collection walked on water in the futuristic runway experience complete with a dazzling lights show pre-show snacks. The water-screen projection used four-story tall holographic effects which showcased models walking through iconic New York City backdrops ranging from The Brooklyn Bridge to the High Line. Among the supermodels hitting the park green were Karlie Kloss, Lily Aldridge, Karolina Kurkova and Hilary Rhoda, who sported a personalized Ralph Lauren polo for the occasion.
Meanwhile, in SoHo, Cara Delevingne and Mulberry joined forces once again to host a fashion week celebration of the new Cara Delevingne X Mulberry bag collection. Guests including Georgia May Jagger, Chelsea Leyland and the model’s sister Poppy Delevingne, gathered at the label’s Spring Street shop where DJ Atlanta de Cadenet turned the scene into a disco dance party. The model-turned-designer had a blast posing with friends in the on-site photobooth, hammering away at the store’s bracelet-making station, and dancing with her pals.

While all designers have their fair share of model BFFs, few share a bond as close as that between Coco Rocha and Zac Posen. What started as a simple fashion week casting for the designer exactly 10 years ago, has since evolved into an ongoing collaborative experience and more importantly, a close friendship.
“I’m so excited to be here at my dear friend Zac Posen’s spring 2015 show,” gushed Coco backstage at the designer’s show on Monday. Though the show was just the latest in the supermodel’s long string of appearances on the designer’s runway — Coco has walked in every single one of Posen’s shows; that’s 20 seasons and over 25 looks in total — it was clear that she was still every bit as excited. And rightfully so!
