Between the heels, makeup applications and removals, too tight or too small outfits, and flashbulbs from photographers, models are expected to undergo a number of uncomfortable experiences. It’s really not surprising when something goes wrong, like a shoe that’s too hard to walk in, or tears from the bright lights. But when John Galliano showed his collection yesterday in Paris, it was the editors who got a taste of runway-related challenges. Hamish Bowles, Glenda Bailey, and Grace Coddington all covering their faces from mysterious fumes while the fake snow stung eyes. Pros like Coco Rocha, Kasia Struss, Raquel Zimmerman, Heidi Mount, Anja Rubik, Toni Garrn, and Sasha Pivovarova all walked without issue. Way to go, girls!
