Petra Nemcova confirmed that she would wear Marchesa for her wedding during Fashion Week in February, but now the model’s letting us in on a few more details surrounding her big day!
After announcing her engagement to Jamie Belman in January of 2011, the major wedding plans began. With a close friendship to the designers, selecting her dress creators was an easy decision. “I’ve known Georgina [Chapman] and Keren [Craig] for so long and I love their dresses,” she told Modelinia at the Luca Luca show. “Their dresses just make you feel so feminine, so beautiful. It was a natural choice.”
With the dress handled, it was time to move on to date and time. As it turns out, Petra will be a summer bride, opting for a June wedding in the English countryside. “It will be in England - because we both love England - and it will be in the countryside,” she said of the decision.” Regarding the rest of Petra’s plans for her big wedding day, everything’s still a secret. “We still have one year to prepare so we are working on the other details.”
